If it floats, Rico & Victoria will bring it to you!!! (Can't wait to see their first submarine tour!) Another amazing yacht tour! Other yacht tour channels TAKE NOTICE! THIS IS HOW ITS DONE!!! Thank you both for another great Saturday!
While certainly more functional, that would throw the weight distribution off and would probably do all sorts of weird things to the stability of the boat because of the lopsided center of gravity vs buoyancy. As it stands, I am already seriously questioning that things seaworthiness.
@@Jack-yl7ccI’m sure that its open water cruising would be limited to crossing over various bays while traveling the intercoastal or maybe a jump over to Bimini on a calm day. But probably fine for Florida from Tarpon Springs to Jax and then down the St John’s. You could spend quite some time and never be exposed to open water for more than an hour or two.
Many eons ago, a friend of mine had a house yacht. It was in the 50 foot range. Gorgeous vessel. He was a commercial pilot. A captain for TWA. He flew 707s. He also owned a half interest in a DC-3 airplane. It held 8 plus 2 crew. But it was the houseboat that held my attention. Thank you for touring this charming vessel. And for the walk down memory lane. 🍻🥂👊
@Navy1977 the plane was set up as a private aircraft. Not commercial. So the 2 owners set it up for 8 passengers in a very comfortable cabin. Sorry I had to explain the obvious to you.
@Navy1977 Yes, even a smaller jet can have a bathroom. And a small food-serving area. To get food ready to serve. Some passengers request their own meal, before their flight. -Mike
This is a really cool concept of a houseboat, but with more amenities. I love the dark tinted windows, you would definitely need that in the Florida heat!
Really a wonderful tour. Great idea for a live aboard that can actually go somewhere. Pocket doors would be better and I think I'd add an outdoor popup TV on the flybridge.
Hi guys, I think the Bow and the Engine compartment would be the two biggest differences between the two. And I wish you all the luck in the world getting under that bridge!
Great yacht. I think these house yachts are fantastic ideas. Most cruisers under 55 feet are too compromised for live aboard, but these are perfect for that and you can enjoy limited safe travels as well.
The best boat tours continue with Rico & Victoria! Very nice house boat! Not sure I want to do the loop with only 300 mile range? And congratulations to Victoria on being named striped clothing spokesperson of the year! Stripes are back in fashion and you lead the way!!!
I was so excited for this video but she needs work for sure. Owners cabin is lackluster and all those doors (which have to be sliding as you touched on). The small fridge (Frigidaire no thanks) and no ice maker on the fly bridge …should be standard ..unless I missed it). I did like the galley and salon layout and all the windows in the 2nd cabin. More videos for options on this type of boat would be awesome. You guys are great!
It's a canal boat. A very big, American canal boat. It should never go to sea. On a lake for sure, nice boat. I just can't get this song out of my head.... Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale a tale of a fateful trip, that started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship.......
"On this particular....." I bet "configuration" is the word you were looking for. What a nifty floating apartment this vessel is. I enjoy the tours of the super yachts, mini-yachts, and vintage yachts, but this was a fun departure from the usual fare. As with many others, I'm excited to see the Bering, when it's done.
Interesting concept. Since you both are so genuine, trustworthy and honest with your reviews it’s great you are offering your knowledge to help people find their next boat. Only issue, is a giant rainfall shower head a great idea with a limited water supply unless you have a way to make freshwater
Great video on something different. The options are boundless for people who want to float & nothing is cheap about boats, yachts, houseboats, or canoes so be prepared to spend if that is what floats your boat. Thanks guys as always.🙏🇨🇦👍
This is one of the reasons why I love houseboats so much. Thank you for bringing us home, it is wonderful and here you have my comment + a hug from the Canary Islands 🛥️🏝️
I absolutely love Saturdays at noon. Thanks always for enriching my day :). I’m a bit of an old timer, love more of a traditional style , this is very nice…
I would love one of those-not big on racing around in a boat or going offshore..been there, done that. But this would be lovely. A million bucks is a bit pricey though
Interesting concept! Would have to have a small bow thruster and where is the anchor chain stored? I noticed the new hair style in many of your shorts but never commented! Looks wonderful.
Smart business plan by this Company, target the waterfront home owners looking for more space, "BOOM" setup in under a week. Plumb in a grey+blackwater system to the house to make it even better.
I am back. Where is my Hatteras? Guess what from NC. Now excited to see your new expedition boat. Hat3 to say still not a 1 million. Many have with your partnership and better videos and hit a million this years
You know what guys, I really liked this tour. It was a tangent to what you usually do but really cool. Some feedback for the builders, not sure about having significant wiring looms in close proximity to any wet whiteware like washing machines and/or dryers. My suggestions is have a separate stacked washer dryer and if possible, any 'electronic/electrical brains' for the house/boat are located elsewhere. And definitely have sliding, not hinged doors, in the updated model. As an option (if they don't already) also have covered area such as louvered system or electrically operated sunshades for top deck, really important for harsher UV climates. Brilliant work you guys and look forward to a few more tangents.
Great boat. Lots of possibilities. I would flip the shower and toilet so the shower is near the swimming area and toilet in the centre of the boat. The same way I would flip the 2 bedrooms and extend the master to get a walk around double. The second bedroom I would make a small office that doubled as a bunk room if needed.
I like the idea of a houseboat. Unfortunately no marinas where I live will even consider them. Pocket doors are a must with those narrow hallways. Nice change from ordinary.
This is the perfect boat for me. I’d want to completely redesign the interior spaces, they are just “not right” but everything else, the upper deck, the windows and even the furniture outside is almost perfect. That sink in the kitchen is laughable, you get more water in the floor than down the drain and the cabin layout is just wrong but like I’ve already said there’s still lots to love here.
cool House Yacht. Coastal cruising, river canal systems North America. Bahamas like you said island hoping. Someone wants to purchase a few or more could start up a rental business of some sort. Great for seniors who would rather just stay close to home and family.
Interesting concept. I would say as a lake vessel, . Yup a perfect idea Lots of sail area for those little outboards to wrangle I would add a bow anchor. Add a slide for grandkids As a man. Victoria. I love the beeebop up to the fly bridge. You are such a beautiful lady.😊 The addition of a que to help find our next boat is great idea👍 Rico...the engine room tour was on point. Short sweet and lots of room😂😂😂🎉
My friend purchased an older houseboat after his divorce and bankruptcy about 30 years ago. engine was not running so it was towed to the location he needed with hook-ups. He out a grill and bug zapper on the back porch and had fish at his boat all the time. He had girls in small boats stop in for a private party on weekends. His stories reflect a wonderful time and lifestyle and for very little money. Eventually he had the engine repaired and he sold it and got into a house again but the stories and exoeriences live on !! Imagine making memories on something like this boat !!!
I can't believe that, the master bedroom was that small. I am so used to the master bedroom being so much bigger. The R Logo that was on the bathrobe, is the logo for a Soap Opera called The Young and the Restles.
Interesting concept. Like the idea of diesel generator on a gas powered boat. One potential drawback I see is the shallow draft. I would worry about the boat being top heavy. Especially if it were equipped with the glass enclosed upper structure that Victoria mentioned.
That’s a pretty cool idea. Pocket doors are a must I think. I would need a much larger grill. 7 to 8 people can be accommodated on this yacht, with a 2 person grill? Is it possible to incorporate the awnings up top, with an enclosure? And can retractable awnings be placed for the full length? Very cool idea this manufacturer has.
I do wish all the cabin doors were “pocket” doors, thanks for confirming that the builders realized their error. They also need to install a larger window in the master cabin.
One question: why? Nearly $1M for a cramped, poorly laid out, dubiously seaworthy, floating box? Much better options exist with conventional boats/yachts, which are superiour aesthetically and functionally to this...object.
Install solar panel covered extension of the top awning bar. Replace engines with two electric outboards. Add lithium battery pack instead of generator. Use "Re-Gen" outboards - run 1, recharge batteries with the other on cloudy days. A TOTAL WINNER !!!!!!
The perfect big river yacht. No mention of the hull type. I looked at their website and they appear to be floating on true pontoons not a unified cat hull. So no bow thrusters?I would be concerned about windage without them when docking. The use of pocket doors would really help functionally as you say.
If it floats, Rico & Victoria will bring it to you!!! (Can't wait to see their first submarine tour!) Another amazing yacht tour! Other yacht tour channels TAKE NOTICE! THIS IS HOW ITS DONE!!! Thank you both for another great Saturday!
That's a perfect retirement vessel for a couple wanting to simply follow the sun. I love it Great video.
I would move the hall completely to one side instead of splitting it. Thanks for the share Victoria and Rico.
I had the same thought.
While certainly more functional, that would throw the weight distribution off and would probably do all sorts of weird things to the stability of the boat because of the lopsided center of gravity vs buoyancy.

@@Jack-yl7cc calm day voyages for sure
@@Jack-yl7ccI’m sure you would have to remove the catamaran style hull and make it a traditional houseboat hull style.
You can take that house to any beautiful place in its range, that is priceless
This is a really cool house 'vessel'. The liveaboard possibilities are enormous.
The Wall of Windows - WoW! 😁
😂
Very different its like sailing away in an apartment. 👍👍
Cool idea right?!?!?!
Try paying for moving your apartment!!!🤪😂🤪😂
Yay!! Woot woot Saturday!
🥳🥳🥳
That's so unique od a boat, a simple yet great design.

love the idea of a house boat,
Us too!!
House boats for sale here in Kentucky go for $300,000 on up !
@@NautiStylesyou guys should check out the house boat capital of the world, Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. Some amazing house boats with helicopters
The short hair look's great! Interesting option! Another great tour!
Thanks so much!
This is a great House Yacht. I have been on more ten a few house boats, this is the most beautiful. Thanks kids, see you next week !
I lived coastal for a while. I dealt with house boat wiring for a while. Love house boats.
Very cool!
No walk around bed in owners cabin? Is there a camera to see either end of boat from helm stations?
Absolutely gorgeous 😍 I am sure the yacht was beautiful too but I was way too enchanted by the pixie goddess
I watch a few of these channels & your buy far the best keep em comin🎉
This is a really cool concept of a houseboat, but with more amenities. I love the dark tinted windows, you would definitely need that in the Florida heat!
Thanks for the tips!
This channel is UNDERRATED, like and share 😇
What a cool concept, but a lot of compromises apparently to accomodate the (narrow) hallway on the main deck.
Love this channel, grew up around boats in san diego. Especially like the classic yachts and superyachts that you get to show.
Glad you like them!
Really a wonderful tour. Great idea for a live aboard that can actually go somewhere. Pocket doors would be better and I think I'd add an outdoor popup TV on the flybridge.
Definitly like the House Yacht idea
Perfect Mississippi River yacht. St. Paul to the Gulf of Mexico
Love seeing the house yacht!! Owninga houseboat has been a dream :)
I giggled when you said: "Professor Rico Rox". 😂 You two are precious.
😂😂😂
Yes to house boats on your channel!!
Partial hardtop with solar panels for me please…….thank you lovely Victoria 🤗🥰
Thanks for watching Tom!
Me too!
That’s what I was thinking too.
I’d love something like this
🛥⛵️🛳Great Content az Alwayz Thnxxx 😎
Hi guys, I think the Bow and the Engine compartment would be the two biggest differences between the two. And I wish you all the luck in the world getting under that bridge!
I normally wouldn’t consider a house boat, but this is a great take on mobility and luxury wrapped in one :). I wonder if it has the luxury price too?
Great video, love it! Thank you for it. Nice little boat, a floating apartment, pretty cool idea!

Fair enough, all great points
Отличный хаусбот! Есть что улучшить доработать, но это заявка на побед👏💪
I would add a Joy Stick for docking. Possible with two engines.

Really love this yacht! Best to have in Miami and Palm Beach...Naples too!
5:45 must have on a fly bridge? an awning or canopy, some sort of sun cover for at least half the bridge.

There are tons of houseboats on lakes all over the USA. Main change I would make is that the owner's stateroom should be full beam with an ensuite.
This would be great to live on. New hair cut looks great .
This vessel adds new meaning to the phrase Party Barge.
Yet again ... GR8 M8 ...Look forward to your Nauti content in both Styles and Guys channels.
this concept is fascinating 🧐 ❤

If I could manage to find dock space, that’d be perfect for summer living on Lake Ontario.
