I think using the E6000 to glue the paper is really overkill. Mod Podge works great to adhere the paper and you could use a 1 1/4 circle punch. They would be much cleaner on the edges.. use your E600 to hold the magnets on the back.
These look awesome, Deanna. I was reading a few of the comments. I don't use a punch for mine, because the stones are not all perfectly round. I pick out my coordinating colors, then glue several of the stones on each page. I use Glossy Accents for mine. It dries much faster than the E6000, but gives you the same clear glossy result. I have these hanging all over the side of my fridge. I can't seem to package them up once I get them made because they are so pretty. Could be a problem. LOL
Cool project and great for craft fair item. Can't wait to make these. Like the idea of pkg in 4 and selling. I buy the little tubes of E6000 as found it gave me more control and less waste.
Still lovin ya & your crafts!!! This 1 super cute... To maybe do teal...blush or gray to match the decor colors that are popular. OR... Holiday them ones... Keep craftin!!! Nevada fan!!!🌺
So pretty, Love the paper you using. I did these in one of our swaps and gave them, did mine a little different, but I like the E600 with the paper. Great tutorial. Hugs my crafty friend!!
I like to print family photos on photo paper and giving as gifts after modge podging. The photo paper makes the images so vibrant and sharp. Looks good Ms. Lady!
I made some of these about 3 years ago from Dollar Tree glass, mod podge and rolled magnet strip. Plus a 1 inch circle punch works great for Dollar Tree gems. I have them on my refrigerator and they are still doing the job. A lot more economical this way. They are a great seller I have heard. You've made a nice assortment. :)
Oh I love this project! Another one I want to try!! Thank you for posting. I think that is a great price. I don’t have that glue but will buy some to make this. I can’t wait to see how you package them!! ♥️
I have always used a circle punch The glass bends the paper below and illusion of a full back. Also... its worth the extra cost to use the metal disc magnets as they don’t slide down the fridge or file cabinet white opening and closing And I coat the back with clear glaze glue. It’s fun to add a dusting of fine glitter on the glass
Very pretty. I think 3.00 dollars is a good price. I'm going to Micheal's tomorrow. I had a hard time finding that size stone last year, hope I have better luck. Thanks again Deanna. Still keeping you and your family in my prayers. Sending a virtual hug today.
I have had experiences with glue where once it dries it distorts the picture with bubbles even though I have moved the glass piece around on the paper to try and eliminate the bubble, that's why I suggested the double-sided adhesive
I think the $3 for a set of four is a great price! I made something similar for the craft fair I did, it was nail polish instead of paper and they sold really well - in fact they were the only thing that day that did sell! Teens like these for their lockers at school, my daughter goes nuts over them! Also, I tried the thin magnet sheets at first and they did not work, the glass was too heavy for them. So you definitely need the thicker magnets.
I just loved this project! I searched high and low to find the large glass stones and finally did find them online from Michael's. I got two packs and to my dismay, nearly every stone had a flaw in it that was noticeable! I was just so disappointed because I could not find this size anywhere else online. I just wondered if you had the same situation? If so, would you just use the stone anyway?? Most of the marks were small but I knew they were there and did not feel good about selling them that way. Yours did not appear to have flaws. Can you comment on this please?
I can’t find them either. I guess they don’t make them anymore. At least this size. I did see a company on Amazon is making these into magnets already. They use colored glass
Love these! I wonder about a circle punch? But I guess you'd have to use one that is an exact size....maybe a 1 1/2" or a 2" punch would be the same size? Love how pretty the paper looks under the glass!! And I think $3.00 is a great price... TFS!! ♡♡♡ Suzy
these are really cute! I think the price is reasonable as well but I have a question. Do you use the gems if they have small cracks in them? I bought 4 containers of the gems and all most all of them have cracks in them. Now I am not sure if they are usable.
I make these as well. I sell for $4 for a pk of 4 inside one of the large magnetic circle tin containers from the Dollar Tree. I've been fairly successful. Tfs ♡
Please be really careful when using the E6000 glue! Is very important to use it in a very well ventilated area! Otherwise it'll really space you out. I strongly advise reading the entire glue package so that you know what you're really dealing with.
I had the same issue with the E6000 so I solve it two ways. I squeeze out a small amount on scrap paper and close the lid each time OR! I buy a pkg of the small tubes when I know that I can use it several times in one sitting. It comes 5 to a pkg I think and you dont waste it.
Instead of using glue and having to wait for that to dry how about using double-sided adhesive sheets and cutting to the size you need for the glass piece and the paper
I was making them with Mod Podge and they take forever to dry. I’m not a fan of the smell of the E-6000 but if it works faster than the Mod Podge, I’m all in! The designs I make, is special logo ones for the High school and middle school. They are purple tigers-so not something you can find easily. I have the market cornered! Haha.😂

I did not use a circle punch bc the gem was not a perfect circle
@@CraftyCraftsByDeanna lol
Love making these ... the 50 pack magnets from Walmart are cheaper and a lil thinner

I need to do that!
Hi I have done these and mod podge works great also:)
I Love her voice 😍 she sounds so sweet.

I like to print family photos on photo paper and giving as gifts after modge podging. The photo paper makes the images so vibrant and sharp. Looks good Ms. Lady!
I like making them with photos too. Time to make more as the kids have grown.

Hi Deanna! They are so cute😍 I think the price sounds fair. Oooo would love to make some for my peg board too. Thanks for sharing. Big hugs!💙💙
Thank you friend
Very pretty, price seems fair. I use glossy accents to glue the paper. I may try the art glitter glue. I do use E6000 to glue the magnet.

I've made these too !! Too cute !!! Nice work Deanne 😊😀🌻❤
Very cool project!

So pretty and your price is fair.
Very cute! I think that’s a fair price.❤️
Hi Deanna, I think these are super cute. I think $3.00 is a great price for your magnets.
Did any of them come damaged mine were from dollar store and many damaged Joanna too frustrating thanks fir the video
Real cute!!
I love it you make everything look so easy when you make it
So cute! Yes $3 is fine.
Will make some for gifts thanks
You can find those glass gems at the dollar tree. They have two sizes. Thanks for your videos.
these are really cute! I think the price is reasonable as well but I have a question. Do you use the gems if they have small cracks in them? I bought 4 containers of the gems and all most all of them have cracks in them. Now I am not sure if they are usable.
No ma’am. Maybe you should return them
I’ve sold them for $3/$4 and they sold well.
Thank you Keely!
You can also use different nail polishes you can use glitter ones too and after they dry use a clear coat to seal them no paper needed 🦄
I make these as well. I sell for $4 for a pk of 4 inside one of the large magnetic circle tin containers from the Dollar Tree. I've been fairly successful. Tfs ♡
What a good idea! Where at in the store are these tins located? I'm trying to picture which ones your talking about. Are they rectangular?
@@conniebaginski5310 they work wonderfully. They are the flatter round ones in the office supplies. :)
You can pick up the stones at the dollar tree as well.
Please be really careful when using the E6000 glue! Is very important to use it in a very well ventilated area! Otherwise it'll really space you out. I strongly advise reading the entire glue package so that you know what you're really dealing with.
Those are so stinking cute ❤❤❤

Use e6000 in a ventilated area. They say it takes 72 hrs to cure completely.

Beautiful I made some and they came out so cute I think $3.00 is a fair price
E6000 has a fast drying glue. FYI
I’ve watched videos where people used the clear stones from Dollar Tree, Mod Podge and the magnets you purchased and. Sold them fo $1 each.
I sell them for $1 each
Could you a circle punch?
Linda's Paper Creations I do!
My gems weren’t a perfect circle
I think $3.00 is a good price
Too much talking
