I had one of these cars 3 years ago, Slow as a snail but one of the most reliable cars i owned Engine never asked for anything apart from me servicing it Great work 👍
Not so sure it’s a stupid idea to have a common feed to the F/P and ignition coils Sandy. You wouldn’t want fuel pressure if there is a loss of ignition supply voltage. (Cylinder wash loss of compression, oil contamination, cat fuel slugging) I think it’s a pretty common architecture. Just a thought. 🍻
@sandyande not much warmer in sunny Bolton, -3 in the mornings, 2 ° tops in the day ,n people say we've got it easy working with the door open ,or outside 😀 👍
Feckin renaults and their mad places for putting fuses in a 1 hour job on the body module. My missis motor cutting out random now. Not just engine turns of, it slowly slowly cuts out. No frigin codes either!
What sort of cutting out? When you rev does it keep running. Might have a boost leak. Inspect for any air pipes and ducts and see if there’s any breaks in them or split air hoses. Also what car is it? Model and year and engine if you know
@@Ifraz2015 2007 megane grand scenic, 1.6 NA petrol. Dash says top up oil, but it isn't empty. Noticed oil resting on the timing side under the head. It has a code now DF624 Memory UPC multiplex connection. CAN connection fault. It cuts out when you stop. It doesn't cut out like you have turned the engine off. it slowly drops revs over say 2 seconds. then won't start for a few minutes. It's a card key and push button start. We bought it for a song last year as the old owner couldn't get it thru MOT as the auto handbrake didn't work. The multi plug under the passenger seat was corroded to death. So cut that out and re soldered it all back together. All waterproof heat shrinked. It did come with a box of new coil packs and brake pads. Any ideas are very welcome. I'm very handy with a spanner etc. I'll be digging into it tomoz, missus can use my 'lil Vw Fox in the mean time. Thanks for helping me out.

Cheers Ryan these OE Renault diagrams take a bit to figure out 🫣
@ Aye Sandy my brain doesn’t work with those ones 🤣 Terrible diagrams
Fantastic diagnosis , I am a Plumber and doing Electrics is not my favorite pastime ! 😕 😚
sometime we need to start backwards due to hidden/hard to access fuse or relay. Good troubleshooting mate.
Cheers good observation I started backwards🤣👍
