Is it good for kids? Hearst Castle Tour Grand Rooms, 2024. We visited Hearst Castle in March 2024. While in Pismo, we decided to head up the coast for a quick visit. I visited Hearst Castle as a child and wanted to return. I wondered if this tour would be worth it and good for kids?

I retired as a guide six years ago after spending twelve years giving tours. The things I miss the most are the surroundings...and involving and inspiring younger visitors like your boys. It warms my heart that they enjoyed their experience so much! I hope the guide talked about the architect Julia Morgan, since they are into architecture. So much to the story! I want to do research into her and make a video because I find her story incredibly inspiring and as women I think she’s an incredible maverick.
We really had the best time and I want to return for the other tours. I hope this video can remain on YT bc we had difficulty getting approval from the state, but I think sharing children going to this incredible living museum is so important and I hope more bring their kids.

Have you been to Solvang with the boys? I loved it there.
Yes! We went to solvang a few years ago. We would have stopped this trip but bc of a roadblock issue we lost 3 hrs so we didn’t have time to stop in for cookies 🤣
