- Events in this video Include: 2 Tornado Watches, 6 Tornado Warnings, 1 PDS Tornado Warning, 10 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings.
Another Severe Weather outbreak in Ohio, But this one was much worse. A Total of 7 Tornados touched down in the local area. The thunderstorm that caused the PDS Tornado Warning dropped a EF-3 Tornado with Winds at 165MPH destroying many homes and businesses. This same storm would later target my back yard where it produced a EF-1 Tornado and destroyed a near by School roof. Thoughts go out to those hardest hit which was Delaware County (My County) and Logan County.
Awesome video! This day was CRAZY! It was way more than I expected for sure, and I was honestly scared to bones when I heard the PDS TOR despite being in Fairfield county lol
20:14 where I live they sound the tornado sirens for a severe thunderstorm warning
I remember getting that PDS Tornado Warning while working the self checkouts at where I work. Ended up so nervous that some complete stranger offered me his phone number.
In fact, when that TOA was issued I was training a new employee and had my HH turned off. I turned it on when I found out about the first PDS iirc.
for ur information, pds is not the highest tornado warning, a TORNADO EMERGENCY is the highest tornado warning
Yeah, I realize that now, fairly new to the EAS gang😄
I am pretty sure that a tornado emergency surpasses a PDS
You are correct.
What are PDS and Tor-E used for?
@@scratchingcatclaw ef3 or bigger tornadoes
yup you are correct, This was before I knew what I was talking about and was freaking out when I got the Warning, Was still New to the EAS gang at the time haha
All of those alarms going off is very unnerving.
19:04 that’s what Michiganders live for! Standing on your front porch and watching it go by.
I need to buy those strobe lights. I do not wake up immediately when these alarms sound
I’m the same way, and strobes are the perfect solution. I recommend the Reecom RA-1603A, but it’s pretty expensive. It’s at least incredibly efficient with batteries, though.
I lived in Zanesville for 20 years not wants I would think a pds warning would happen😫
What light is that you have that blinks red with a warning?
I was 9 when the 85 tornado hit.
I'm trying to understand why you have so many weather radios in one room, plus living room (right next to your weather room) and one in what looks like a child's room? At the beginning of the video, they all went off simultaneously with same info. Please explain your method to the madness. TY 😊
I know why I would want, I can sleep at any point and in any way, so having something like this would help keep me in check if I am not in a deep sleep.
His reasons may be different.
@@UnofficialWeatherMan I can tell you exactly why he has so many weather radios. He is a collector like I am. It is very common to have a completely filled room with these things as do I. And I love everyone of them.
@vectorcollector4893 I would become a collector of weather radios, but parents won't let me as I still live with 8/9 siblings.
@@UnofficialWeatherMan So then the best thing to do is get one really good radio.
@@UnofficialWeatherMan If you are not able to collect my advice is get one. Really good radio or trying to convince them to let you have 2.
What’s the alarm used at 12:53? Sounds cool
if you’re talking about the one with the lower pitch, then i think it’s the Running Snail MD319
Oh yea that was one part thank you; I was also curious about the whole strobe light thing
That RunningSnail radio came with the strobe, but I’d recommend buying either the identical (I believe) Midland 18-STR strobe or, if you want a really good strobe, the Reecom RA-1603A (which is pretty expensive, but is very efficient with batteries to make up for it).
You know funny enough. I caught these alerts as well. It's the worst alert I've ever caught.
My city was impacted by the Indian lake tornado in a different county thoe
Oh wow! hope recovery is going well up there!
Ryan hall is one of my favorite TH-camrs 14:03
Same
I hope I get a tornado warning someday
I got one like 3 days ago. I've been in 3 tornado warnings this year
No you don’t. If you’ve ever been in 1 and suffered damage to life and property … no you don’t.
Depends on if you have a basement or not.
Are you nuts
That's kinda a bad thing to hope for....
He’s not scared of the tornadoes….
The tornadoes are scared of him…
