Nice video man! Love the car and color. I test drove a gt line and was impressed but I waited for the dealer to find me a pearl white 2020 forte gt with a manual and I’m in love with it. How’s the mpgs you been getting with it?
Thanks! I am very happy with the car so far and nice I bet the GT is alot of fun especially in manual! I am averaging 30 mpg most of the time and that’s a mix of city driving and highway driving each time.
It’s been pretty great so far, definitely not the quickest car out there but it is fun with how light it is. The manual mode also works very well the response time is great on it.
Unfortunately I have not because where I live doesn’t really get snow and if we do it’s barely anything. I’m sure it would be a interesting experience though!
How is the road noise and ride quality? I've watched and read a number of professional reviews saying its pretty firm bordering on harsh at times and there's quite a bit of road noise. Have you noticed that at all?
The road noise can get a bit high when you are on the highway, as for the ride quality I haven’t really had any complaints with it. It is on the firm side but it hasn’t ever been bad for me.
@@StandingTallAutoReviews I do a lot of highway driving - may not be the best choice for me then. Hate excessive road noise. That's a shame - it literally has everything I want on a compact car and the fact you fit in it put my mind at ease (I'm 6' 3").
@@StandingTallAutoReviews Went ahead and ordered an 2021 EX with only 7800 miles on it from Carvana. It'll be here Monday. I figured what the heck - if I don't like it I have a week to send it back for a full refund (there's no shipping charge - its in California like I am). Can't really lose.
Nice! It’s a great car and the road noise may not be bad to you it just is more noticeable for me since I came from a 2009 Genesis. I usually have music on so I don’t notice it as much and it does amazing on gas. I hope you enjoy it when you get it and yes it is great for taller people being a smaller car!
@@StandingTallAutoReviews thanks man. Awesome review. I got my 21 gt-line a couple weeks ago. Thanks for all the info! I appreciate the time you took to make this video! 🙏🏽
Wouldn’t say “stripped” model, but more of a value model. Different engines which is why the exhaust changes, you can get a sunroof on the GT-Line. I will say the GT is better though.
Yeah I think this model is more for people who enjoy the looks over performance, it saves them a little money while giving them the upgraded look. I have a GT with gt2 package and I love it.
@@RussiaDaily Exactly. I use mine as a commuter car at 64 miles round trip a day. I enjoy the GT eye candy with the sensible mpg. I'm not winning any races except at the pump but either way I'm liking this ride,
@@jeremyg8568 Yeah, that makes sense. I got 37mpg the whole time on my cross country trip from Las Vegas to Alabama recently, but that was highway. Surprisingly the turbo helps with mpg longer distances but definitely not in city when I’m stepping on it.
My 2020 looks exactly like the 2021 down to the “T”🤩
Congrats I got mine in March in Blue color. It truly is a fun car to drive.
Thanks! They are fun to drive and great on gas!
2 years later….. how is it holding up for both yall?? I’m looking into these years as well
I traded it for a AWD SE Camry 2023. It was a fun car though lol@@ThatGuyWithAKia
Just got my 2021 6speed red stitching it's awesome
Very cool, hope you enjoy it! Miss mine every day it’s a good car.

Got this in fire orange. Dude I love that trunk liner! Link?
Sweet! I appreciate it also, this one came from the dealer like that but I found a link to it which I will add to the description of this video!

@@jeffmorse645What did you/do you think about it? Did you keep it?
Does the gt line trim come with the ambient lighting like the gt trim comes with
No it does not come with it unfortunately.
What type of transmission it has?
Is it a cvt?
Yes it is a CVT but they call it a IVT. It is chain based and it is meant to mimic a regular automatic more than a traditional CVT.
@@StandingTallAutoReviewswhat about gt?
does it have any issues?
I’m not aware of any issues with the GT. I have driven one and it’s a fun car, definitely more engaging than the GT Line.
Where did you get your arm rest cover?
I got it off eBay! I will share the link for you in the video description.
