Hi Jamie......I've fished lots of club matches on this beautiful River 🤗......back in the 80's........if you ever get s chance to fish it a night then your in for a real treat 👍.....150lb bags a common 👍👍👍....best thing about it is when it's about to turn light.... especially july 🤗.....it's totally amazing....birds.....wildlife....it's mind blowing mate 👍.....love the videos Jamie.🤗🤗🤗🤗
Jamie I think it’s lovely you take your dad with you, I can tell you think the world of him. My dad use to take me fishing when I was little, later in life we didn’t do much fishing together and I really regret that now he’s gone. Great videos by the way, some of the music is ok, just as long as it isn’t that repetitive stuff and not for too long and too often, would prefer none at all To be honest.

Nice report Jamie even though the result didn't go your way. You should come over to the Weaver in Northwich. Loads of bream being caught on the feeder if you draw the right peg. Big match coming up in August - Mal Scott memorial. :)
You Tubes algorithm just popped this one up, years after you originally posted it. Thought i would watch it again as in perpetual Covid lockdown, why not !. Then i heard peg 79 mentioned and realised that i had drawn the very same peg 2 years after you were there!. Before the match one of the locals said to me " Have you travelled far ? ". I took this as just friendly small talk so replied honestly, "about 4 hrs". His reply wasn't encouraging. " Pity, i hate that peg it's shit ! ". So don't beat yourself up mate, i caught very little and the local was right!. Looks nice but for some reason, the Bream just don't hang round there. Oh well, that's match fishing, you need a draw pal.
Great vid Jamie. Looks a bit like South Clifton on the trent . Can you help I'm thinking of fishing the feeder championships next year are they six rules and if so what are all six. Southfield res etc etc cheers Rob
Hey Jamie, Is there any chance to go these venues one day earlier to make a test session? Or is is forbidden to fishing before the match? Any regulation about the additives what you can use during these matches (hemp, corn, crumb, etc.)?
D0 the rules alow you to fish feeder on a whip Jamie 5 or 6m to hand Secret and brown crumb in feeder mixed in the correct proportions so feeder is empty at sa.e time as you are catching speeds everything up , plenty caster in groundbait.
good vid.... that one you pulled out of at 4.20 in the vid...from my armchair it looked like you had the rod at a too steep angle...too far behind yo head not using the full cushion of the rod. ? but...weev all done it...... maybee nex time a 9ft feeder rod as well...fish much closer as second line....

Oh mate it's amazing how many anglers have all got into fishing through their fathers its great mate we are very lucky aren't we :)
