Trading is mental game, that is why most people lose money because they cannot control their emotions. Because the prevalent idea of our culture is to effortless indulge and focus on their own pleasure and wellbeing, but controlling your emotions is unpleasant and painful and that is why most traders lose money because they don't want to meet the pain. That is why there is so many drugs, alcohol, obese and fat people, broken marriages and adultery.
This is actually one of the reasons why I'm still very skeptical. Traditionally careful and bearish critics are now turning bullish and calling August the final double bottom. I think that the charts mean little if CPI remains high and Fed hawkish. We'll see tomorrow. Even if CPI is at or below the expected rate, I'd need to see a third
Absolutely agree, mental game, you can’t sell just because you are losing money for like 3 days :/ and you can’t mess with super cheap stocks they aren’t reliable. I’ve had my account for about 6 months now… I haven’t lost anything and only gained when I got it I profited 1,000$ so far without a single stock losing profit. I just came here to see if there was anything I could do to grow quicker or maybe some better stocks, it would be the perfect world to find a 3$ stock that isn’t going to scare me into thinking it would crash. So I could just buy like 100 of thems It’s slow slow climb when you aren’t sitting on a ton of money without the ability to day trade YET (gotta get to 25k) :/ if you start to lose money with a stock my simple solution is put more money in to lower your average per share to make it easier to profit when it inevitably goes back up. Etsy just sent me for a ride the past 2 and 1/2 weeks :/ I just profited today but it was only 1.37$ I bought 2 shares when it was at 74ish$ and kept buying 2 more when it dipped twice a week until I got to 8 then it started climbing and spiked to what I needed to get out clean finally literally today ;-; I’ve never had a stock I’ve held onto that long while “losing” before and it spooked me. I absolutely agree people can’t control their own emotions because the ability to hold onto a stock without it expiring is golden. Warner bros is rlly super low rn in case anyone was interested I’ve been swing trading WBD, buying on Monday-Tuesday selling on Friday for a solid 3 weeks now :) limit trades are essential. And trailing stops are amazing if you spiked up in profit and are afraid your stock is going to start going down soon.
@Paul-pm1lmbeing in a phase for 6-12 months is terrifying I’ve only had my account for 6 months and Etsy was going thru a phase for about 2 and 1/2 weeks and I’ve never had a prediction I made do that before :/ it sold today and I only profited about a dollar on 8 shares but I was NOT STAYING ANY LONGER, and I’m glad cuz it spiked right back down under profit price but twas spooky I couldn’t imagine how spooked I would be with a 6 month phase ;-; checking in to see “total gain -12$ for about a week every time I bought 2 more to make the -$ seem like less” was nightmarish, checking in today to see it was out of my portfolio cuz the limit trade went off was a relief! I stg I cancelled the limit trade and reset it so many times to account for extra shares and new average price per share ;-;

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I greatly doubt he did that himself in short time. It is usually financial advisors or hedge funds that make that much profit, especially in recent times.

So, I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. It is easy to find constant low risk investments options that keep up with or slightly pass inflation, but anything above that comes at the cost of more risk. Are you a fundamental or technical guy? Day trader, swing trader, buy and hold? Are you willing to take safer lower investment income over riskier higher income? Do you believe in market indicators? Can you recognize if you are trading out of greed, or if you are trading with a plan and purpose with stops put in place? That all takes time to learn and we all know that the economy and the markets are not the same thing.

Great video, I have a quick question. I am an aspiring trader, I am looking study some traders and earn off their expertise rather than investing myself and lose money emotionally. Whats your take on copy trading? Do people really make money? Just looking for some reassurance.Thank you!
why not? u can follow the trader, and learn how they trade, that way u get the money and the experience.
I’ve copied trades from a signal provider over the past few years and its better than trading blindly on your own if youre an absolute newbie. It would give you a better understanding of what's happening but keep in mind that the success of copying another trader lies in their transparency. As long as you do your homework on who you’re copying and what their strategy is, it’s a nice hands-off way to invest.
Hi, where can I find traders to copy?
I usually go with registered representatives. AMY JEAN ANDERSEN for example has the best performance history (in my opinion) and does offers 1v1 consultation to her copiers which I think is amazing. I don’t know how many traders like that are there
