Another idea for those with a Glowforge is to use laser foil. Johnson Plastics sells laser foil that you put on the acrylic and it will cut the foil the same time you cut the acrylic. It saves a step of using a Cricut. It doesn't come in a ton of colors but just something else to try : )
You’re pushing me to get my P2! As I do with more expensive purchases, I’m justifying and rationalizing why I need this one - no rationalizing at this point, I just need it!🤷🏽♀️
I understand - the heart wants what the heart wants:) It is a great machine if you decide to get one. I really loved my Glowforge CO2 laser, but this one is tall enough to do tumblers and has some nice technology so is the only CO2 laser I use now.
Love the video! You did a fantastic job explaining and love how the they came out. I don’t have a laser cutter right now but and hoping to get one so I can start making acrylic things. My daughter has a Stanley and needs something like that on her cup. I guess I will have to buy one off Esty. Don’t ever think a video is to long. If people doesn’t like it then they don’t have to watch it. I would rather someone explain everything so people understand.
Thank you!!! Angie Holden has a video on cutting thin acrylic with the Cricut Maker. The title of it is "Cutting Acrylic with the Cricut Maker" and she was able to cut a really thin acrylic (actually, two different thicknesses but the thinnest is very very thin and wobbly.
Hey Marilyn I really enjoyed the video and thanks so much from going over this process with the P2.
You're very welcome and thank you so much for watching! I'm getting ready to do another project with acrylic for a baby wall hanging.
Oh wow I can't wait! I'm still learning on mine. My setting was to high for MDF 1/8" and I had a lot of smoke🙄
I really like these. It's super cool to personalize them too.
The toppers came out nice. I like the sublimation acrylic better than the white acrylic.
Thanks Latricia! I really do too. It has depth to it that the white acrylic just doesn't.
Cute toppers are so fun🤩 The Marilyn is my fav!
Thank you, Sissy!!!
SUPER CUTE. YEEESSSS SO MANY THINGS CAN BE DONE WITH THAT TOOL. AWESOME JOB AS ALWAYS.
I love it! I will definitely need to get some sublimation acrylic! ❤
Thanks so much! Yes, I really love how it turns out. I hope you do too.
Love the toppers very pretty
Thank you Lena Doyle Crafting!!!
Really cute toppers ❤❤❤
Thank you RUG'l!!!

Thank you, Kelly! Do you have a sublimation printer?
@@MakingwithMarilyn
Yes ma’am I do
@@kellywyant2644 which Stanley tumbler does she have? If it’s one of the quenchers, I can send you the blank to sublimate
@@MakingwithMarilyn
It’s the 40oz. I think you had that size in the video. That would be wonderful if you could do that! Thank you!❤️
@@kellywyant2644 can you email me @ makingwithmarilyn@gmail.com so we can chat further?
