All developers in Toronto basically shop from the same vendor. Same Miele appliances, kitchen shelve design, bathtub, toilet, sink etc all look the same in many different condos
Rents must gone down in Toronto ON I in Regina SK I really missed the convenient of big city living with everything at your doorstep not like that in Regina SK most likely will move back next year
Haha, you should see how big a bachelor (no bedroom) is nowadays, 300 Sqft, exactly like a shoebox. They try to maximize and use every inch of the space while making the units smaller and smaller so they can cram and sell more units.
Hi great video!! Can you share if the heat and hot water included in these condos? I know it’s been over year but do you remember the sqft of the first condo in this video?
@@katsmoneytime5827 hey i'm not sure what your timeline is for securing a rental - but I have a pre-construction 1 bed that is 660 sqft that i'm looking to find renters for once it closes in april. location is at bathurst and dupont and project is called "the bianca" by tridel. its within the price point you are looking for. i'm just an average individual who happens to have bought the project for investment purposes 3 years ago. if you're potentially interested and can hold out for that time frame, feel free to reply to this comment thread!
@@sonicherbs1705 Ya, that's the unfortunate truth these days. I've been renting for a couple years now and I'm pretty much sick of having my cheque, whole background check ready to go during every viewing to secure a place.
I pay $50 for Wi-Fi, $80 for utilities/electricity. It really depends on the plan you choose and how big your place is (how much electricity you use up)
As a Land lord these prices are ridiculous Toronto is an expensive city .... look at Etobicoke and rent is cheaper.. you get more than this overpriced box. Also Id rather rent it cheaper and have great tenants. If your young move to Montreal a cheaper cost of living .... save your money.
Haha I think it's only going to get more expensive in Toronto sadly. I've seen people share a small condo unit and some sleep in the living room. Good thing that in today's environment working from home is becoming a norm, people can pretty much work from anywhere and live in an affordable city.
My guess is that prices will either correct a bit or level off and stay flat as rates increase. I don’t see a major correction in Canada because there’s not enough supply currently to accommodate the demand and annual immigration into Canada. Even if the government introduces foreign buyer taxes/restrictions, the majority of people buying has permanent residence status. There’s been an influx of buyers from Hong Kong as well due to the political stance, so It’s definitely hard to keep prices down.
In condos these are private land lords and vacancy rate is so low that land lords don’t offer any special offers like that because they don’t need to. The rent on these are so beyond ridiculous. Not that long ago someone’s mortgage would be less on these units.
Horrible views from the windows and balcony...ugh.. it's like the price is sky high to match with the height of the building as well...but all you see is what your neighbor is up to at all times...

Yes, they’re all cookie cutter buildings. Probably get a large discount from the suppliers for ordering so many.
Such an informative video! :)

Toronto condo flootplans are atrocious. The kitchen is in your throat as you’re tryna chill on the couch in that first unit

Great vid! Have you been working with a realtor to find these places or these private ones?
Thanks! Yes I went with a realtor. 🙂
@@katsmoneytime5827 You do understand once you actually start the process of renting one, it turn out to be a bidding situation on who can pay more

Unfortunately, it's become a bidding war now.

Yonge and Bloor

@@katsmoneytime5827 there's already foreign buyer tax 15%...
In canada do they include utilities in this price or are they extra?
Utilities/electricity are extra. Same as Internet/Wi-Fi.
