  • Session with Dutch bass player Jasja Offermans.
Being the daughter of guitarist and composer Corrie van Binsbergen and bassist Hein Offermans, Jasja was brought up with music. She studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, after a break of a couple of years due to a injury on her wrist, she returned and finished her bachelor degree at the Conservatory, pop department in Amsterdam.
Jasja is an all-rounder from freelance musician, music producer, light engineer, live sound engineer, stagemanager to photographer. She played for multiple years with Indian Askin, Typhoon, High Dive (Stargaze), Pitou and Silver Lake. For six years, she rocked the stage with her last band Indian Askin, for which she previously received an Edison in the “Best Newcomer” category and performed at festivals such as Pinkpop, Lowlands and Best Kept Secret. Even the Ziggo Dome is no unknown territory for her.
Adventurousness is something she strives for in all her projects. This explains the wide range of genres covered. You can read about her in the Bassist and MusicMaker Magazine, de Volkskrant and het Parool, among others.
We hope you enjoy her session!
