However, after decades in the entertainment industry and countless controversies, many fans have started to believe the musician has lost sight of his values, trading in an outlaw persona for that of a Hollywood Elite, who cares more about money than he does people. As a wanna be “hit piece” it was lame. You conveniently left out how he set up his concerts to directly save the fans massive amounts of money even if he was going to lose or pay out of pocket. I would have probably agreed with this as Im not a fan. His first album was hot but the rest is a bit gimmicky for my taste. That said i saw a video where he surprised a special needs superfan by showing up to his birthday and he sat and talked to the kid and appeared genuine. It gave me a different look at him and gained some respect. Not saying that he does this all the time or even that could have been a PR stunt, but it looked genuine and stunt or not... it didnt matter to that kid.
Also i think it's pretty ignorant to bash a person because their parents were able to give them a good upbringing. You say the same about Drake? Migos? Just because his parents were successful he can't enjoy or perform certain music? GTFOutta here.

Not to mention the whole opening of his show was “My Name is KIIIIIIIIIDDD” most of us was like who gives a fck…He has culturally switched to anything to keep himself relevant his whole career..Wish he jus live on all the millions he has and stop

Really I never heard of Kidd Rock’s music until I saw him with Trump, Dan Bongino, and Tucker Carlson at the UFC fight and I looked up his music. Whatever he was in the past is in the past! I’m glad he loves his country and is standing up against the crazy times we live in now. Because he is republican? Well I think thats awesome! Jelly Roll doesn’t get the backlash because he isn’t on either side of the aisle, but hey so many trying to pull the speck out of your eye when they have a plank in their own eye. I find it not relevant. He is what he is and I enjoy both his antics and some of his music. He’s a local here in Nashville and you would be surprised at how many artists feel the same as he(and I) and don’t have the balls to put out there in public
Here in Michigan we have some incredible music acts like Alice Cooper,Ted Nugent,Bob Seger,Grand Funk to Billy Strings and Eimenem and the whole Motown thing but I don’t put Kid Rock in that list.

I believe that Kid Rock didn't want to be a made-man on his parents account. I think he made a man's decision at a young age. He had a calling, but he didn't know it yet. He probably did know that he was different, and he knew he had something to offer to others. The more he encountered challenges, the more he had to prove. He proved it to himself and didn't care what others thought of him. Look at him now!!! Get to know him as the manly man that he is. His messages in his songs are very easy for me to understand. Car factories in Michigan (as mentioned at 7:32) are part of UAW, United Auto Workers, the union that gets great wages and benefits for the workers, which is part of the reason why American cars cost so much. How do I know? I grew up in the area and some of my family were UAW members. You need better research. If part of your story is inaccurate, your whole story is dubious - why should the audience believe your other points are trustworthy?

I've been a fan since Devil Without A Cause and everything mentioned in the video was known when Kid Rock took off. We knew he was from a rich family, we knew the whole trailer park/hanging out with Hank etc. etc. was for the image and knew about his political affiliations.

I knew him when he was a sincere and sweet guy. He's unrecognizable now. I am embarrassed to say I know him. His dis against Jonathan Davis and KoRn were the final straws for me, considering that they had both attended the show for which I was the production manager. I spent an entire weekend with both of them. Robby will never be 1/10th of the "MAN" that Davis was and is.
