- I really hope if you're thinking about laser eye surgery this video helps you as I tried to not only be completely honest but I also wanted to create something I wish I could have watched before I had my surgery. When editing the footage I'm not sure it came across how much I think the pain was intensified from not thinking what I was experiencing was normal. Please let me know what you think and if you decide to go ahead.

Loved this review. So interesting to listen to your experience. I've considered this so many times over the years as my eyes are really awful but I've always been much too scared to have it done. The freedom of not having to wear contacts or glasses would just be amazing tho xxx

Is the dryness totally unbearable? Can you look at computer screen for a long time after a week of surgery? What about driving at night? Any halos, starbursts?

I was scheduled for LASIK with Optical Express tomorrow, however Ive had an unrelated respiratory infection so had to push back.
My cousin bro in law is an optician and strongly recommended I visit Moorfields Eye instead, given they are the world leaders, following some research and fate postponing my first procedure, I have now scheduled a consultation with Moorfields for a second opinion (for my piece of mind). There are so many risks, and lots of people do suffer from dry eyes/halos type issues, minor, not vision disrupting but obviously there is a chance (even 0.1% is 1 in 1000) of shit going wrong, which for an elective procedure is still a risk!
Also scared about touching my eye! What about washing your face!
I'm currently on day 4 post LASIK iDesign surgery... my experience was so similar to yours! I completely underestimated how horrible I'd find the surgery itself. I was shaking throughout, my eyes were streaming and the pressure of the clamps has left blood red bruising. Cut to the journey home... I was crying, I couldn't open my eyes or blink because of the stinging, and it was the same when I got home. It took my partner ages to get my antibiotic drops in my eyes... but I woke up the next day being able to see 20/20 vision, although still a bit blurry. I paid just under £4400 for mine, my prescription was the same as yours too, but I had mine done at Optical Express. You're right about no one warning you how bad the posy surgery is... it was so horrible, I completely underestimated it. Thankyou for giving others some insight! X

Dont do Lasik, look up Endmyopia it works
