Nice! I dove in after a rod once! I got it but the fish came off. The water was up to my chin so it would have been creepy reeling in a mystery creature that way but I would have lol! I was using a half bluegill and a bobber and caught a 6 pound channel cat and two big turtles same day that way!

cats are crafty had one hit took rod 15ft to river bank but i was dozing at 1am great fun landed a 38 lb flatty.
They always hit at unexpected times.
