Alex Van Aert I always noticed that as a kid and I always thought (and still think) that he's not punching him, but pointing. Even though it doesn't show a finger. But Nintendo would probably know that punching Yoshi's/animals is bad, that probably wasn't there intent. (but I have to admit, it looks like it) As for the Yoshi's flinch and his expression... Him just backing his head up before he throws his tounge out. Kind of like how we throw baseballs. We don't throw like shotput. We charge up our throw. As for the expression on his face. He does look scared. But, when you're trying to make something look diagonal (yoshi's head in this case) with pixels, it usually doesn't look like it's supposed to. Oh, and he is trying to fight for his life. That could be why he looks scared. Anywho, I will still continue to think he's pointing and such.
However while the game was being developed they originally had Mario punching Yoshi's head but they changed that before they published the game so no one would feel bad for Yoshi

I used Logic as my DAW/Sequencer and a host of different plugins for the orchestral instruments. The different programs from Sounds Online are where I get a LOT of my samples!
As a certain fat plumber would say: Wonder-aful!! This is literally the best remix I've ever heard of this particular song, and I hope you'll make more. On a side note, the semi-well-known Mario machinist SMG4 used this song in two of his videos: "Mario for Hire" and "The Retardness of 2014".

Now that I'm older, I kinda get it, but to me, it's just the vanilla Mario. Like, it's good. But it's only the baseline for all the others.
