    Brother, these last few videos you've made, with the soothing music, and quietness in nature, really speak to my heart and my love for the time outdoors. So rejuvenating and refreshing. Keep up the good work! :-)

    I am looking forward to these videos more and more! Too many want to "bushcraft" to the point of having to have so much gear you can't afford the potato to make this with. You, Sir, have brought it back to where it should be, elegantly simple and truly enjoyable! Thank you, my brother, for all that you do!

    We need more of these kind of videos, with the way this country is heading, inflation, power grids going down, prepping for food, and of course a bug out bag for the whole family.. Times are different now, be prepared...

    Creek you are the fabio of bushcraft. My girlfriend wasnt happy i wanted to watch your show until she saw those golden locks of love glistening in the winter sun. Then she became a fan. Love the new show on TWC. Now to get in one of your classes.

    👍👍👍😋 I have made many kinds of this bread with ground inner pine bark, pinenuts and acorn flour with sweetpotates or red potatoes! I added stevia in the last one I made was a good breakfast bread!

    We called these potatoe cakes, with different spices growing up. Potatoes, flour, and garlic powder or onion powder. Or fresh garlic or onion.

    Thanks for the recent videos that you posted. They were excellent for me. My I know what camera and editing software you are using for your recent videos? If you can have a training course to teach us to be a quality TH-camr who can also have similar quality as these last vedios I will be the first one to join. Please consider and process. Thanks again.

    IF you did not have any almond flour, what could you source IN THE WILD to make flour for this bread?

    • @willowhavenoutdoor
      @willowhavenoutdoor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Acorn flour, walnut flour, hickory nut flour, hazelnut flour, pine bark flour, Lambsquarter seed flour, amaranth flour, dock seed flour...

  • @BelindaFarage
    @BelindaFarage 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ooo I’ve got some almond flour! And a sweet potato. Now to search for those mustard seeds... Absolutely love the simplicity of these videos!

    Pumpkin and cornmeal make a good camp bread also. During the first few seconds of the video I thought that you might be using cattail starch.
    Thanks for the very clear video and the reminder to get outside. Have a good 2021.

  • @CantrellLeatherGoods
    @CantrellLeatherGoods 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Goodness this sounds so good. Could you use like Jerusalem Artichoke for the “flour”? I’m going to try this with some regular flour and a regular potato (we have to work with what we have right?). Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.

    I'm not gonna lie hearing you flip them over and the blade hitting the stone made me cringe lol .Potato cakes have always been a great way to get the left over spuds gone

    Better off just eating the sweet potato. Flour in all forms are very denatured and over processed with no nutritional value. Bread is a sham. it will help you feel full but it won't give you anything your body wants or needs because again, it's denatured and over processed. Good way to ruin a perfectly good sweet potato.

    • @JackGilbertJr
      @JackGilbertJr 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nonsense

    • @DivergentDroid
      @DivergentDroid 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JackGilbertJr You obviously have no understanding of what denaturing and over processing food is. No understanding of what living enzymes are why your body needs them and how just a little bit of cooking destroys them. I encourage you to get some education before you spout, "nonsense".

    • @willowhavenoutdoor
      @willowhavenoutdoor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used almond flour and mentioned it in the video.

    • @DivergentDroid
      @DivergentDroid 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@willowhavenoutdoor So you are under the illusion you are not denaturing that used to be food not over processing it not cooking therefore killing the enzymes from that used to be food? I think you need an education as well. You should look these things up.

      The white the bread, the quicker you're ded.
