On the final mission, Jeremy shot the Corvette and Gavin said “You missed!” Jeremy shoots it again and mission ends.
Truth is, the Corvette requires 2 shots on LASO. Probably because it needs to be more challenging.
Impressive they did that part one try, especially after reading how it was basically luck based
Yeah, I'm surprised how easily it went for them, but my guess is that the spartan laser backup helped immensely. Just like how LNoS was supposed to be the hardest mission, then having 4 people instead of one made it apparently 10x easier.

@@christianbethel Not joking, you can see Jeremy shoot the cruiser (I called it a Corvette on accident) at the end and he hit it, but the shot did not destroy it like in normal gameplay. He hit it again and mission complete.

@@Kl0zi9999 Hasn't been the same since before Ryan. One big thing probably was due to Covid and the seperation of the crew. But it's been going on long before that as well. With the entirety of Rooster Teeth falling victim to being more than just a small website and channel.
You may have said that before about this era, or will say that about the future versus right now...I will suggest to reconsider where nostalgia, survivorship bias, familiarity biases, and all that may be affecting your thoughts here, or that this may be a natural dip/valley, not permanent decay.

They should do that for Halo 2 as well, though that campaign might be a bit beyond them, what with the bullshit snipers and brutes that refuse to die.

The funny part of that Nightfall section is that they could've just hung a left and completely bypassed that section with the marines.
They could have skipped the entire level. You can beat it in less than 5 minutes
Femboyfoxxo It’s funny how many sections they actually stopped to kill tons of enemies which they could have skipped. You can run and drive past half the first level and honestly, most combat sections in the game.

For anyone looking to try this: I recommend you play the game twice over before starting, so you play the campaign as you normally would on any difficulty, then on legendary, then try LASO. The first time is to learn what to do, the second time is to learn where the pains in the arse are and the last time is for real. If you're feeling particularly ballsy you can try legendary first time, and if you're the kind of person who didn't sprint into bed after turning off the lights as a kid, then just jump straight into LASO.
EDIT: They should also do a Playps for Halo 1 and 2 LASO.

@TM Delacrush The worst offender for a ricochet betrayal weapon-wise is a sniper rifle, because it has the caliber of ammo capable of it. Case in point there, the multi-ricochet shot of Leonard L. Church that managed to wing the ankle of a rogue Agent Maine during Red vs Blue Season 6.
After all, you can't exactly get a ricochet with a beam rifle or a rocket launcher, for an obvious reason in the latter case.
The master chief collection has invisible walls throughout the games. But most of the original unedited games didn't
