Wow you are so informative and taking the time to give a true lecture of all the systems explaining what each does it’s value I do appreciate your time and you taking such pride in your coach and it’s systems
Thank you for watching and commenting Marc. From never owning, or traveling in, an RV before, let alone one this size, it was quite a learning experience for me. Just thought this might be of some benefit for someone else thinking about getting into a Class A motor coach and doing some traveling.
Hi Mike. That is a beautiful coach. Way ahead in technology for its time. Ps. It was great meeting you guys the other day. Love all the details and tips you provided. I am moving ahead with the fire suppression system.
Hello Mike. Nice to hear from you. Yeah, fire and tire blow outs is what has scared me the most about driving our coach, just above crazy truckers ;-) Hope all is well with you and your family. Enjoy the Poconos and be safe. Post some photos :-)
You explained and demonstrated how all of the different features work in your beautiful coach in such a nice way! Greatly appreciate all of the thought and effort you put into this. We've been enjoying a higher end gas coach for 5 years but eventually hope to upgrade to a Monaco Executive or Signature. Happy trails to you and your wife.
Thank you Vincent. I had a real challenge recording the video because of the bright light coming in the windows etc. It might have come out better if I just recorded it at night. I had to record all of it by myself. I hope I covered everyone's curiosity LOL. I'm trying to put together some video slide shows with the photos from our last big trip. I've worked up 12 separate 10 min videos but now I'm thinking about combining them into approx 20 min videos. We saw some really spectacular landscapes and sites on out trip out West last Fall. Don't know if you noticed but I also did a tour of everything on the outside of the coach.
Thank you Alex. We're trying to get as much use out of it while I'm still capable of operating it ha ha. I'm not getting any younger. I have to admit though it sure is a neat way to travel, especially with all of this COVID mess we're all having to deal with. Be safe and stay healthy.
LOL Thanks for watching. You would be really surprised at how many people are out there living in RV's full time, some as small as a Class B (custom Van). The downside is if you have to have and major repair work done you have to take your home into a shop and you might not be able to stay in it. For short weekend trips this would be a little overkill. These are best for long duration trips and/or living in them full time. We should be using it more than what we do.
Thanks for watching and commenting Ray. I got lucky when we bought ours. There are coaches out there in great shape. Like buying a car, you don't want to be rushed. Take your time and start looking at them way BEFORE you think you will want to get on the road with one. You will learn a LOT about them in the process. It's just like buying a house only it has wheels under it. You will find the best deals on ones that are 5 years old or older. That's typically when the depreciation of new ones starts flattening out. Tires and batteries typically need replacing every 5 years and those are two big ticket items. Look at how the previous owner(s) used it and if they have complete maintenance records for it. Investment in a professional inspection may be a good investment as well.
Oh thank you Mike for letting me know it’s a beautiful motorhome I used to have a 2002 Monaco executive they are great machines God bless good luck with it
@@briandruker164 Thank You. We've had it for 3 years now. I just picked it back up yesterday from getting the two capt chairs and the sofa reupholstered. Not sure how long we'll keep it but hopefully I'll get a couple more years out of it while I'm still capable of driving and maintaining it. Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm in the process now of uploading 6 video slide shows from our Fall 6500 mile trip out west with it last year.
