I prefer the Barry Allen on The Flash series way better than the comics because he just has so much more personality. He’s a nerdy guy and he’s a little awkward sometimes and I guess a loveable dork. The one thing I do like about the Barry in the comics at least in the recent rebirth series is that he makes a lot of mistakes either not telling someone something thinking he’s protecting them or being a little too much over his head or maybe being too good for his own good I just love that about him. He also doesn’t believe in killing people and just that all together creates a more real person with flaws which the TV show also has but his personality in the comics is just not there. I like how they have it in the show and in the Justice League movie.
I started getting involved in comics sometime in the middle of the New 52 era, and it's... surreal... hearing events I remember reading "in-time" mentioned as part of comics history (when you guys start talking about Wally coming back in Rebirth). In my mind, everything since I started reading is "current comics".
Tbh and this may be an incredibly unpopular opinion but I feel Hal Jordan should not have been brought back. In my opinion Kyle Rayner should be the current main Green Lantern.
For the longest time in my young kid life, I thought the Flash in the Justice League animated series was Barry Allen, not Wally West. Just to show how weird I was as a kid.
To paraphrase a Batman line, the only time Barry Allen was inspiring was when he died. I saw a version of Barry's origin during a superfriends episode & he's always seemed bland and boring to me. Hopefully watching more of the show'll at least get me to care, but I'll always be a Wally West & Jay Garrick Flash idolizer.
*Thank you for this. Barry Allen is now my #1 favourite DC character. All because of the CW show 'The Flash'.* _Greetings from London, United Kindom!_ 😊
Okay - just help me here...doesn't Reverse Flash go back and save his mom? I may have just misunderstood the story but it seems like a very fundamental thing to the story.

My second favorite superhero besides Spider-Man
Must watch at 2x
@47:16 yeah idk about that one. Flash War was great no doubt. Mark Waid's Flash is in a class of it's own.
Don't get me wrong I like Barry Allen but for me I grew up with the original Wally West, great vid as always.
After finding out the flash was wally my curiosity for who Barry was grew.

Don't worry I was the same given the his origin taking place in the forensics lab. Either way Barry is personally my favorite flash regardless.

I mean everyone in SuperFriends was boring
Steven! Used to listen to Critical hit a lot! Loved him on that. Love the flash too! Thanks for doing this episode. Love the Flash!
JL Year One Justice League is my founding Justice League

He's my second after batman but in the flash family definitely number 1 followed by Jay Garrick

Lol, no
No Reverse Flash goes back and kills his mom
Is this a re-upload?
It's science adjacent
Yeah this is why I love Wally west flash because he’s way more interesting then Barry Allen ever was
