This 100% will. The graphics are so cute and the character development feels more like an anime than a game. There’s so much freedom! It’s going to be awesome. To add: the general art style and feel of this game is reminiscent of older Harvest moon titles. Those are the farming games I grew up on so this feels more nostalgic to me.

I liked the video! I played the demo today after watching. Im not sure it will top stardew for me as of right now, i feel like some of the controls (like the scroll wheel scrolling in the opposite direction than what every other game ive played has it go) feel a little weird to me so it was a bit clunky. Hopefully the developers tweak it a little bit before release, or at least allow us to reverse that input lol. I know that they intend to allow for keybinding changes for the full game but didnt see anything for the wheel itself. It is very cute though (despite my preference for stardews color palette) and the combat seems fun as well! Hopefully the full thing is as entertaining as the demo was.

Haven't seen the video in it's entirety, but gotta love the nostalgic feel of thw game. Though the npcs do look similar to how Sailor Moon (I mean just compare Celine to Annie Tsukino used to (and kinda gives me some sense of Howl inspiration as well 😅) graphic do look nice and do have potential!

I will say the biggest downfall of stardew valley is the style of the animals and the character portraits. I'm sorry, but I feel like all the dudes are way more handsome when drawn in any other style but the default. Some of the ladies too. And the animals... The pigs literally scare me.

Oh my god I had no idea you could swim LOL I played it trying to find pathways around the lake/rivers 😭 and also I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how cute our MC sprite is! It's like it's so small and not even as detailed graphic-wise as every other farming sim games but they made it so absolutely adorable for being so simple, I'm actually quite impressed coz I don't think that's easy to do seeing as there's so many farming sim games that have tried but I don't think they're as cute and simple as they've done with this.

I actually haven’t finished watching the whole video (halfway through) but it inspired me to get the demo. I was sooo surprised when I jumped in the water ✨ and you can swim to the little dark round things to get some clams and shellfish. Sooo excited for the full version - eek!

I was SO ready to disagree with the title because Stardew Valley has been my favorite game since it released. But I tried Fields of Mistria recently and I actually think this has the potential to be the best in this genre.
I feel like this art style is sailor moon meets ghibli. I love it and want this game on switch. And yes, i like licorice, real licorice though not the fake licorice flavoured things. Licorice tea i dont like as much but it is good for upset stomachs so i kinda thonk of it as better tasting medicine.
I’m really hoping it will come to switch when I releases fully! I feel like it’s perfect for the switch. So other than licorice tea, I think I’ve only had the fake licorice candy? Maybe that’s why I don’t like it haha

I actually haven’t finished watching the whole video (halfway through) but it inspired me to get the demo. I was sooo surprised when I jumped in the water ✨ and you can swim to the little dark round things to get some clams and shellfish. Sooo excited for the full version - eek!
YES jumping in the water was great!! I feel like the game has a lot of freedom with the swimming / jumping.

The demo is actually not available anymore ): it was only available for a short period. Early Access starts in August though! 🩷

I was SO ready to disagree with the title because Stardew Valley has been my favorite game since it released. But I tried Fields of Mistria recently and I actually think this has the potential to be the best in this genre.
I feel like this art style is sailor moon meets ghibli. I love it and want this game on switch.
And yes, i like licorice, real licorice though not the fake licorice flavoured things. Licorice tea i dont like as much but it is good for upset stomachs so i kinda thonk of it as better tasting medicine.
I’m really hoping it will come to switch when I releases fully! I feel like it’s perfect for the switch.
So other than licorice tea, I think I’ve only had the fake licorice candy? Maybe that’s why I don’t like it haha

Okay they're gonna have me at the way it looks so cutesy like. I can see it being on the same level as stardew absolutely, and I feel like since the game is still starting out over time it just might top it especially with the vibrant colors! I'm a sucker for vibrant colors in games lol

I would say it most likely will, it fits the switch so perfectly!
I do have several questions though. Do the tools break in this game? Do we need to eat to bring our stamina and energy back to normal when its low?
@@angelinarobbins1567 nope tools do not break! You do have to eat to restore stamina and it restores at night as well ☺️
Thank you I just had to ask because games like Animal Crossing and Palia forces you to to repair or buy your tools once they break.
