      makes no sense. without rulers, there's no one to enforce the rules.
      yes, mob/majority rule is rulership.
      no, our majority is not the real thing driving what our masters do with us, the slaves.

    Dear Andreas, Anarchy is not chaos, there has been always rules without human rulers; the rules of nature, that are the best because are automatically enforced and equal to everybody. If there should be human rules, they should mimic the rules of nature, because no other person need to enforce them and will lead us to no longer need rulers. Leaders should teach how to deal with the rules of nature and thrive as human beings. The best solutions to fill the gap of the solutions is what you are doing, teaching (my respect to you). Solutions don't need to be simple or simplistic, they need to be explained and understood, we have to trust people is smart enough to understand and deal with the rules of nature and the solutions, even if they are difficult.

    Social engineering is a discipline in social science that refers to efforts to influence particular attitudes and social behaviors on a large scale, whether by governments, media or private groups in order to produce desired characteristics in a target population. Social engineering can also be understood philosophically as a deterministic phenomenon where the intentions and goals of the architects of the new social construct are realized.
    Social engineers use the scientific method to analyze and understand social systems in order to design the appropriate methods to achieve the desired results in the human subjects.
    They may not able to co-ordinate but they can induce behaviours to faciliate intended outcomes. Covid is a great example of this.

    As always Andreas bringing some sanity into the global conversation.
    As much as I think that distributed trust networks will be a significant part of our future, I sill lack the vision to see how do physical consequences will be possible for those that break that trust. Without some kind of physical representation of the virtual distributed will, what will stop a mercenary group to just keep growing in strength until it renders all the distributed trust irrelevant?

    • @seanliebel6306
      @seanliebel6306 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@bazmalaza85 That's not necessarily true either. It is more like we have accepted only part of what we are capable of. Take for instance the notion that you are told people only use 5% of their brain power. We made the computers and they did not make us.

    • @bazmalaza85
      @bazmalaza85 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@seanliebel6306 You are probably reacting to the human nature part of my response. If so, good point. That's why I used "it seems" - so in context to Matto's comment I see it like this: until now, the "mainstream" has always chosen the convenient lie over the inconvenient truth. But it's like with the "Fool all the people..." quote from Lincoln - you can never get everybody. Maybe, and here I try to see a big universal picture, it's exactly this relation between the many and the few, what changes a crest into a trough in a wave or into the new majority or mainstream of a perspective. Specifically, when the average Joe will get how blockchains work, he is probably also part of the mainstream, isn't he? Truth, over time, will always reveal itself. With the fact of the inter-connectivity between the electromagnetic waves of "your" atoms and everything around you, I am not 100% sure of who made what though (the "are we living in a simulation?" question, lol). The simplest answers are often the hardest ones to understand. I feel that breathing alone and learning how to learn are already tough disciplines. Maybe let's start from there. Only change is certain.
