Anyone else watch these videos a couple times over? So much meat and potatoes in these vids man! I will be here to back you for everyone of em! I don’t know why or how but listening to these vids and hearing how you educate us and how you show us how you learn, you really are a great teacher. It’s something that I hope you’re able to use in other aspects of your life too, and I’m sure you do.
hahah thank you mate, I'm very glad you find it so! Funnily enough, been a coach for a different sport and worked in adult education so maybe there's a little carry-over :D
@@theavgdad ahhh now that makes sense my friend! Like always, keep it up with the amazing content, you are truly amassing such a great following in the community, and it is much appreciated 🙌
Your tactical knowledge is amazing! I’m currently developing a possession tactic with Arsenal (although in the year 2045), and some of your tips/ideas are spot on for me!!
I love this, I've been able to build my tactic to counter all this, once you set your players to roam you can literally destroy a counter press because they will move to where they can get the ball, your player follows opening space and then you'll be hurt 😊 Also, I've found a way to tweak teams and funnel them to where I want and kill all their attacks, I do this by marking players somewhat zonally so they have no choice but to play how I want... Note: I don't even use a dm 😊
Really great video and explanations! Just feel like we need to see the game aswell to see it in action, or at least a highlight reel where you can point to some of your ideas 😊
I really, REALLY love your videos! They're the most informative and easy to understand videos I've found on fm even for a football noob like me! I would love it if you'd make a video on countering intense opposition pressing in the future, and how to create space against them and keep possession. Thanks for all your hardwork!
God this is so interesting and informative i just don't have the time to make all this analysis before matches and make these tweaks I'd never get a season finished
@@theavgdad I find myself halfway through a game thinking, damn I should have changed this, this or this but I'm a get to the next kick off kind of player these days. I end up 2-0 down and regretting my haste, only to repeat that mistake again and again
Feel like you're talking to me lol. I went attacking because I wanted to absolutely steamroll Liverpool with my Inter in the UCL. We won 4-2 but with great struggle, against 10 men no less. I went from attacking to very attacking and their defence was impenetrable
Thank you for the vid and explanation! Question, how useful are your instructions if the player has low teamwork or low work rate? Are some players not worth giving instructions?
that is a super question. I would say it still has an effect, but the player with low TW may still revert to his traits over your instructions in more cases. Low work rate guys won't necessarily disregard, but will not really thunder around the pitch pressing if asked to
Question: what about using two inverted full backs and a center back instead of three center backs. I find that sometimes the center backs have a hard time defending wide players or switches
@@theavgdad yeah I have. I think we track switches into the wider areas a lot better. I have reduced the close down more option on the inverted fullbacks to avoid letting them get dragged around. I think it works well, from what I’ve seen so far. I think so far 3 cbs work well against 2 st formations but not if there are two wingers and 2 ifb and one CB works well when there are wingers. Maybe it could also just be my imagination.
For me it’s Newcastle with that dumb 343 and every emery team plays 442 with 2 holding. For some reason these two give me a lot of problems. And I know it’s emery because I beat Liverpool with kloop and lost to villa. As soon as emery goes Liverpool I start losing against Liverpool.
yeah totally get that, the deeper formations are really nasty - it's 343 and 4231 deep are so good in fm24. Personally I like to put a playmaker in the DM or CM area against them, essentially keep the ball in spots they have to leave their formation to press
Good vid as always, although I’d like to see those ideas displayed while you actually go into the matches and show us the game and how the tactics actually work ✌️ps. Porro is good but hella overrated in fm lol
yeah totally, just felt like this one would get out of hand. Defo trying to go in-match as much as poss tho - and Porro, haha, yea, feels like he's got better stats than Trent
Joke FM videos, AI and bullshit to get clicks. Playing it since Amiga (30 years ago) the first time. Owned Every single Manager afterwards. You don’t need any wannabe videos or youtuber’s for this game. It is toooooooo easy.

Babe wake up! Avgdad posted a new vid!
Top video from the best FM Tactics guy on YT. I love the way you explain everything in reference to real football and not simply the game itself.
high praise, glad you enjoy the approach :)

How do yo do this? its interesting
Very cool! something satisfying about making them dance to your tune :)
How do you mark players zonally?
Mark specific position rather than the player@@langletprolet8378
Yes porro is amazing on the ball technically. His defending is his weakness.
He's superb if you're playing 3 CB

thank you for the comment! This is a great idea, I'll add it to my pipeline :D
What a great channel i just discover with you man. Greetings from Argentina!
greetings, and thank you so much :)
Great content as always mate, thanks! 👏🏼 Keep up the good work...and "tending to start a new game to let your frustrations out" 😂❤️
hahah yeah I bet a lot of FM players do the same!
I love it!😍
your video just showed up while I decided to turn my tactic more like real Madrid vs ManCity
Loved this video, fantastic content as always. I will need to watch multiple times great. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
God this is so interesting and informative i just don't have the time to make all this analysis before matches and make these tweaks I'd never get a season finished
hundred percent, I only do them for really big games. Like 4-5 per season tops
@@theavgdad I find myself halfway through a game thinking, damn I should have changed this, this or this but I'm a get to the next kick off kind of player these days. I end up 2-0 down and regretting my haste, only to repeat that mistake again and again
The reason you were not getting highlights after going attacking was that when you changed to attack, AI went defensive.

Pedro Porro is that good
Man Marking is risky but worth it, gotta give it a try
Great videos, all of them! I just missed the moment where you maybe give some small feedback about the origins of calling Chilwell "Noncey" :D
Pedro porro is elite 🎉🎉
Porro is very good.
Hi ! Try changing your resolution when filming cause the 3k or 4k resolution messes up the recording . Keep it up !
agreed, thank you for the feedback :)

Look at you people with your analysts and scouts. Meanwhile my board doesn't think we can afford them. I'm constantly on the lookout for another job.
Wait wat did he call Ben?😂

Can u do rangers tactic please
what are you struggling with when you play them? Not sure I can do them specifically but happy to discuss here
Pedro Porro is better than Trent.
Porro is not that good no
I refuse using this cheat tactic. I prefer a 4-2-3-1. This is the nr1 downloaded Meta tacic. I dont take advise from someone downloading tactics 😂
u wut m8?
You clearly don’t watch football lol. Pedro Poro has been top 5 best right backs in the league this season…
I don't watch much Spurs, I will admit. Seen a couple of games lately though, looks just a smidge overrated on current form
