  • As the YOKKAO USA Tour 2023 continues its run throughout the land of the free there has been a singular constant besides the incredible atmosphere shared by all in each and every seminar… that being, sparring! And here at Headkicks Martial Arts & Fitness Lafayette, Louisiana was no different. Kicking things off in style with the GOAT of Muay Thai himself, Saenchai. As the living legend stalks forward with his hilarious antics and iconic signature moves. Most notably here the jumping scissor low kick, which lands effortlessly so much so that his sparring partner tries one of his own only to find himself flat on the mats. With a roar of appreciation of the counter Saenchai once again proves why he is called the greatest of all time. From kids to professional fighters these sparring sessions are for everyone to enjoy. Having the ability to trade blows with world class fighters such as Duangdawnoi and Chalawan. Seeing first hand the thought process behind their combinations and timing of their strikes. A true learning experience. Who would you like to spar the most out of the YOKKAO USA Tour and why? Let us know in the comments below!

The cameraman was feeling underpaid and asked for a tip, Saenchai heard it the thai way 😄

why is it always that when the guys spar its nice and controlled, everybody smills, but the girls literally try to kill each other in every video I see?

Probably ego on both ends. I believe, especially the bigger girls that face DD, some get triggered (which happens) because they're getting out techniqued by someone a lot smaller

Agreed, the great Jean Charles Scarbowsky says to 'smile' during sparring and in your training...it actually helps tremendously
