Isuzu Philippines Corporation adds an option for you mu-X and D-Max lovers this 2018. The RZ4E engine is here, and it’s ready to take on the Philippine roads with its smaller yet fuel-efficient diesel engine. Caco took the mu-X on a spin and here’s what he thinks.

Definitely an in your face type of car, the 1.9L manual looks pretty promising considering on fuel efficiency and future car maintenance costs.

Bought a MU-X 1.9 RZ4E LS-A last September. Ang konsumo nyan sa Diesel parang 1.3 na Toyota Vios Worth-it the price. Kung hindi ka naman techy o maarte pero gusto mo maporma sa sasakyan ito magandang bilhin.

Jhon Joseph Tolibas maayos nmn sir sa isuzu pero depende sa branch,isuzu imus samin,ang 1.9 rz4e ay mas less maintainance,kc 2.5 samin lsa m/t,nun pms mismo hinati nila un mga ginagawa sa pms for 20k pms sched,discounted ang mux owners philippines members ng 20% kaya once naka bili ka sir,pa member k rin sa muxop.Sa isuzu imus kc pwd m bantayan during pms kaya kampante ka,mas ok un ganun para alam na ginagawa un pms ng tama.

Awesome review! I have a question with the break over ride system. What will happen when your on an incline and you need to step on the break and gas pedal at the same time then transition by applying gas while still slowly or smoothly releasing the break. I’m from Baguio and we usually do this will the BOSS kill the engine?

Basic lng, kung pangkakarga or panghahatak mo go for 3.0. Well kasi mas mataas ang torque. Pero kung passengers lng naman go for 1.9. Di naman pabilisan ang basehan.

The review is quite short. Caco did not sit on the 2nd and 3rd row seats. I think this has the most spacious 3rd row seats among all mid size SUVs.
All mux variants are the same in terms of space.
