I first tried to learn Kubernetes with a course on pluralsight but this one is much better! Explicitly pointing out what to focus on and not going to much into details in the first place makes understanding so much easiert.
I can confirm all of the below comments , ths is very simple to listen to , tone of the tutorial is digestible and not determine your own knowledge. I have now listened to this several times.
Excellent video - answered a lot of initial confusion for me! Well worth watching first following the commands, then a second time around, using the information to build your own app - it stops you getting lost along the way!
Very good. Works well on Windows as well. Although, I actually installed a mini cluster (master with two nodes) on my VMBox running Linux/Ubuntu. Works great for testing failover and a more realistic setup. However, for development, Minikube is the way to go.
Hi Basit, what a great video. I just loved the way you teach, simple and straight. I understood everything in one go. Of course it would need lots of practice to have everything on finger tips but I have a starting point now. I dont feel scared anymore. I am quite excited to see your further tutorials, where can I find them please ???
Hi Thank you for your lecture. Great one!! Clearest and Cleanest yet! Towards the end of the lecture i inferred there are more lectures to follow...Is that true? Would you be uploading the rest of the lectures to complete this tutorial course? That would be a great help!!
Hey Sheel, thanks for your positive feedback and I am glad that you have found the tutorial useful to you. The full Kubunets course can be access on Level Up Academy: tinyurl.com/y89sdtq2
I am sorry but the concept is not at all clear for me after this lesson. you should emphasize on that part way more instead of taking that much time of advantages/disadvantages.
This is a big problem with learning through TH-cam, I find. Mostly I just want to look over someone's shoulder as they type commands and write config files. When I hear "Cloud SaaS container scaling" I just kinda zone out.
please stop pronouncing "kubectl" like that. it's so annoying that i almost stopped watching. how about just "koob-CTL" or even "cube-CTL" without the need for that extra syllable in the middle. you don't pronounce it "mini-koob-A" so please stop with the "koob-A" stuff. so annoying!!

Not the best tutorial on TH-cam, but the best tutorial on the internet regarding kubernetes.
Thanks a lot
whats the best one on youtube?
@@EightSixx TH-cam is a subset of internet.
I find this video as one of the best k8s tutorials for beginners. Thank you.
@1:02:37 you can see where minikube set the url using 'minikube service tomcat-load-balancer -url', then access using curl or in browser.

20:30, install and setup kubectl
Perfect. Detailed, comprehensive, nice sequencing, and great narration and presentation. Thanks much
Thanks you for the tutorials well explained in the most simplest way ! Great Job !!
at 40:28 maybe you'll write kubectl describe pod [podname] instead "kubectl get pods [podname]". Is it right?

Good job!
This is very good, thanks!
Hi, would be interested in creating a written kubernetes course?
When would one use pods with more than one container?
www.mirantis.com/blog/multi-container-pods-and-container-communication-in-kubernetes/
Good vid
why kubernetes required virtual machine, can it be done directly on host instead of giving some space in virtualbox ???
what do u mean by virtual machine? of course you can install direct on the host/operating system.
its required for a "mini" version of k8s that runs on a single host. For staging and production systems its not required.
i love it. Thanks
sir i got error at minikube service [-n NAMESPACE] [--url] NAME,,,,,i dont know wht to give for NAME,plzzzz help me
until the 26:00 the video was ok .
then you not any understandable ; /
you may know this but not to be a mentor or any advisor in this area
what do i do after your git repo disappeared ?
bring back the kubernetese-demo!
Good video... set speed to 1.25x.
Is it really for beginners ? I am 10 min into the video and totally lost what it all means...
the most interesting pronunciation of kubectl I've ever heard -- but really good video nonetheless

This video is may be for the ones who already know how Kubernetes work. I am finding little hard to understand. felt like plain theory.
when puberty hits
Just focus on the tech and less hype. Got turned off by too much selling instead of teaching.
Koob
