  • I have released my 3rd CD called "AIR". shop.per-olovkindgren.com
I play music by: Dowland, Galilei, Weiss, Bach, Handel, Albinoni and Pachelbel. All, popular classical pieces that I have been asked to record on a CD. And here it is!
You can order it from my website shop.per-olovkindgren.com/ and also listen to sound samples there.
I am posting a Bach Preludium in C-Major from "The Well-Tempered Clavier" today. This prelude also served as the basis for the Ave Maria of Charles Gounod. I hope you will like my arrangement.
I will soon post more music from my own hand though I can't compare with Bach... :-)
    Love you all!
    Per-Olov
The Well-Tempered Clavier (German: Das Wohltemperiertes klavier), BWV 846--893, is a collection of solo keyboard music composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. He first gave the title to a book of preludes and fugues in all 24 major and minor keys, dated 1722, composed "for the profit and use of musical youth desirous of learning, and especially for the pastime of those already skilled in this study." Bach later compiled a second book of the same kind, dated 1742, but titled it only "Twenty-four Preludes and Fugues." The two works are now usually considered to comprise The Well-Tempered Clavier and are referred to respectively as Books I and II. The Well-Tempered Clavier is generally regarded as one of the most influential works in the history of Western classical music.
The best-known piece is the first prelude of Book I, a simple progression of arpeggiated chords. The technical simplicity of this C Major prelude has made it one of the most commonly studied piano pieces for students completing their introductory training.

Thank you so much for your kind words! To me, music is about feelings and not so much about ''showing off'' or promote yourself. I am glad it can be heard in my playing.

I've been looking for a really good version of this music. I've looked at countless videos, listened to a few seconds or so, then stopped and kept on searching. Then i came across this... i listened to the whole piece, and thought"wow", thats the one i've been looking for.

I agree. Amazing man. And thinking he was most known in his time for his improvisations!! NOT his compositions... How weird and sad isn't that? Can you imagine what we missed!! Sigh... I have to meet him in Heaven to ask him to play for me... :-)

Fantastic, Bach was such a Master in Harmony, couldn't help analyzing what I was hearing in ,such rich patterns. This man was far ahead of his time. All those beautiful chord inversions, diminished sounds, as a Jazz musician one can not but love this rich food for thought, I'll be back to analyze in depth. I see one dis-like here, sorry to say probably a deaf or total A-musical individual, great Per,Vic.

for some reason this almost brings a tear to my eye and I don't know why. It gets slightly happy toward in the middle but then brings the sadness back. Feels like the person who wrote it was telling a story about losing a loved one, remembering the happy times and then yearning for them. Well played, sir.

Amazing. As a piano player I didn't know that was even possible on guitar! Hmm... six notes in each chord, six strings, so I suppose it is possible, but not much room for manoeuvre! Skilful playing indeed! Thank you for sharing.

You always have this rich, sonorous and dynamic tone that puts you up there with the all the other greats of guitar; for that I give thanks to you. I especially get excited when I see that you have a new Bach piece put up; I would love to see you interpret (and transcribe) Bach's Siciliano from BWV 1031. I think that'd be awesome!
By the way, two months ago I purchased BWV 999 and the Albinoni adagio from your site. They are great fun!

I am glad my education is only in 'the soul of music' rather than being overly technical. This piece of music is beautiful, but the arrangement I think is wonderful and is a clear proof that you are caressing the guitar to bring out all it's qualities, tonally exciting. I am a fan of music both written for the guitar and that which was never intended for the guitar. Admiration for both, but in particular to the interpretation. You are at one with your instrument. Great technical recording too.
