I did not know it was possible for a Guardian to look so emotionally taken aback by getting smacked in the face. It just sat there like: The *AUDACITY*
Guardians are great, I flipped one onto its head and the pathetic looks it tried to gave me as it wiggled around with broken legs were amazing. You can also get on top of their head and use them as an (incredibly unreliable) steed xD

Considering the amount of times I’ve died to those things while playing the game, that was satisfying to watch
I love the way it gets knocked back from the sheer impact
It really neat to see that Mario and Link both run at and fall at typical human speeds, those being ~19mph and ~200mph respectively.

200kph, not mph, and his falling speed in that instance was actually on par with the terminal velocity of a falling human.
I wouldn't call it typical, the average athlete sprints at 15mph, elite athletes such as Usain Bolt can reach 26mph, which means link isn't quite an elite athlete, but definitely way above the human average.
I'm not sure if this counts, but if you put the travel medalion at gerudo town,activate moon jump,warp to the travel medalion then warp to lab to start the timer, and void out by drowning.
After the loading screen you should get up at gerudo town.
In my 5 tests,i got around an average of 43 seconds for loading time and getting to a pool of water for drowning. Also, the glitch is moon jump wrong warping.

That's neat! For this video I definitely wanted to avoid doing "warp" stuff from dying, voiding out or stuff like that, but that's still really interesting!

A lot! I only did the ones mentioned in the video, Lord of the Mountain was by far the worst because they spawn in the bottom left of the map and it really did take 3 attempts to get it.

And it took me awhile to learn windbombs. Did my first 2 days ago and am trying to do it consistently and learn how to aim where I want to go because all id do is go up

Okay so this is a wild take: I dont know if its actually faster than super swim but its pretty amazing. So the glitch is called super soul launch, and cooperates with moon jump physics. In the process of activating moon jump, theres a way to mount a lynel instead of the horse. Now if you shield jump and pull out your paraglider while mounting the lynel after the moonjump is active, the camera can be started floating away from Link mounting the lynel. Im not sure how it works but what you wanna do is shooting the lynel with an ancient arrow in order to cancel the mounting and instantly press X to pull out the paraglider again. What this does is seperating Links body and soul, causing his body to snap in the direction his soul is located. What should be happening is Link moving with a crazy amount of speed into any direction you want. PLUS not being stuck at mountains, because the moonjump glitch stops you from touching the ground when having the paraglider out. I think it might beat the superswim, not sure tho 😅
I really like the idea of link hopping on a lynel and the lynel getting so angry it fricken rips links soul from his body

Considering how time works in botw (1 min. is 1 hr. in-game) it’s pretty impressive that Link can sprint across an entire country in just under day
They give you a whole 72 minutes in Skyrim and the map is even a bit smaller. Open world games feel big until you're just mindlessly riding from one end to the other as fast as possible

It doesn't. I provides a level one speed boost, and can be combined with a level two meal, but using a level three meal would just be wasteful

I've just recently finished my first playthrough of BOTW and I did it Fast Travelling the least I can, I ended with a total of 3 fast travels, 2 at the beginning and 1 by accident when I was inside Hyrule Castle for the first time. It's definitely the best decision I made in my playthrough.

For shield surfing if you can make it while it's raining or if you wet the area where the shieldd goes by, you'll have near to no friction so max speed up in steep hill and way less speed loss on plain.
