  • Here is a realistic video of a Day In The Life aboard our sailboat in the Sea Of Cortez, Baja Mexico. We leave our paradise spot and set sail to get provisions in Loreto so we can spend 2 weeks exploring around the area in our Gemini 105mc Catamaran. Life aboard with a toddler is no joke but at least there are always Dolphins readily available for entertainment. Let us know if the comments what else you would like to see on our pocket catamaran as we continue to sail Mexico and beyond!

Great video. Cracked me up that you are watching other sailing videos as you sail. Had some great dolphin shots. Amazingly how many dolphins are around you. Be Safe!!!

It’s strange to watch sailing while sailing but it was a slow sail haha. That pod of dolphins we came across had a few hundred!!! It was amazing!

Oh yeah man, Sam Holmes is amazing. Inspirational. I catch all of his stuff, right after yours. Loreto is way too open to hang out long.

Are you headed north? If you stop in Morro Bay I’ve got your dinner and some wine. Cheers!

It’s been a dream of mine to get the boat into Morro Bay harbor! Boats staying in Mexico for another season but after that maybe I will attempt the hop from southern Californian to Morro Bay!

For what it is we absolutely love it. Compared to an equal size monohull the Gemini is a blast to sail and is well suited for living on or longer trips but of course it’s size is also it’s downfall in the multihull realm. We made a video of our personal pros and cons so feel free to check it out and let me know what you think.

Do you find it dangerous in any of the local cities?

Baja is an absolutely beautiful place with very friendly people. Coming from a very large city being out here feels like we are in a safe rural village in comparison. So far this trip we have felt very safe in every part of Baja except for Cabo San Lucas which is a major tourist city known for the partying.

Your Gemini is a lot nicer than Sam Holmes Cape Dory 28 and the boat that was given to him.

Haha well thank you! He did sail across the pacific, Atlantic, and has managed to sail a free boat down Florida without sinking and practically with no engine!! I call that legend status in my book haha

@@theadventuresons1223 Sam sailed a 26 footer to Hawaii and sold it, cool. The Hobie 16 to Bahamas made me nervous.
