Eclaw Claw Machines In The UK | Not How They Should Be Set

- Some of these 'state of the art' claws in the UK are absolute rubbish. Here's what I've dealt with for the last 2 days playing them

I did a test at a Haven holiday camp a few years back. Their E Claw was set to pay out after 125 plays. It was 30p a play or 4 for £1. So do the maths. 😅
Honestly that’s not terrible! By all means that seems generous compared to HBLs 250 plays with £1 for 4 goes 😂
The machines are fine, the coils and solenoids are fine. The location sets the payout so low I don't know how they can stay open. Unless they have a steady stream of tourist, so they don't have to worry about repeat business.
I know how a claw machine works mate but atleast set them so people want to put more money in 😂

The cinema in the mall close to me has the worst payouts I dumped around $50NZ into it cause I wanted a snorlax and it didnt pay out. I honestly expected it to after about $20-$30 I gave up cause I didnt care enough to find out what the pay out actually was. I worked in a store that had one set to a $7 payout then a $10 pay out when it had licenses Sanrio stuff and due to it being pretty fair it got a bunch of repeat customers and actually made a nice profit for the store. Theres honestly no need for them to be so greedy with them having stupid high pay outs.
When I went to Japan the ones that were more payout after a number of tries were all pretty fair and reflected the value of the prizes and if an attendant saw you were doing a lot of attempts and not getting anywhere they would often make it easier for you

hey just been to the bournemouth pier arcade there is literally 2 claw machines that arnt pay till u win and both are SUPER weak i wouldnt go back till summer prob

E-claws are so good at rigging, they don't need to be this weak. Managed to win a Donkey Kong at Chessington the other day...I always thought the Mario machines were set to pay out the least due to the fact they are a widely appealing prize 🤷♂
I know right mate, the rigging at that arcade was non existent. Chessington the other day? Is it open? Been meaning to go there for an episode. I would assume the same with Mario plush but saying that HBL never usually alter payouts
@@MrMegaCrane just the zoo open ATM, but they do have the main arcade open too (none of the outside machines around the park seemed to be working though)
@@chrispiasecki8389 I’m guessing they are off. I know last time I went ages ago they had 3 mega cosmics and very few megas remaining, they won’t be broken though

The mk1s tend to have white buttons, lights along the sides of the gantry, a decorated control panel and an extended soundtrack. Some don't have an extended soundtrack but this one does

Hahah you can see how terrible they typically are here though in the UK! Rigging needs to be optimised to their max potential in my opinion
@@MrMegaCrane They need to install the correct solenoid as well, which doesn't seem to be case much over there. The black ones are only rated for prizes that are aprox 100-190grams (max 300, but that's pushing it). The stitch's are probably heavier and need a blue solenoid.
@@Rweroseems to be the same situation everywhere here regarding the solenoids. Blackpool was only location I enjoyed them and thought they was set to their maximum potential

@@MrMegaCranefor me I won something out of it haven’t won from it since the machines are best when the prizes are stacked to the top but most uk arcades don’t seem to do that
