I am still skeptical about DynamoDB which you have used for millions of records. I would have stuck to Aurora DB (with good desiging) for both cost & performance.

Just to add, any reason for using Amplify?? For me, I would have gone with any client side framework (Angular, React Vue etc) and hosted it on S3.
