Hi Skye and Chad! Nice job on the bead board....it looks great! Everything looks light and airy but still very cozy. I love your cabinet color so much! Does it look more brown or green? I am looking for a sage color....I know Benjamin Moore had a beautiful 2022 color of the year in a sage. I want to do my cabinets that color and then a very light gray on the walls or a white. It's a great room so we definitely have to pick a wall color we want throughout. I think I'm going to have to get some samples and try that. I may tackle the kitchen cabinets but hire out the wall painting as our ceilings are somewhat high and we are a little too old to be up on a high ladder!🤣
Oh yes! Grab some samples! Putty by fusion mineral paint is another favorite. It’s slightly darker than ours. We used Heather by Dunn Edwards and had Sherwin Williams color match it for us. It’s the perfect beige/green combo. It pulls more beige in some rooms and green in others. It really just depends on the lighting in each room.
We also had to have all of our ceilings painted because they were a dingy yellow. We hired that out. 😅😅

I love your home and in resemblance I'm decorating my house kinda like yours. I love the white and the wood tones you have. Oh I have a question? Would the beard board not look better to go all the way to the floor where you have your trash can? Anyways I love it, and I'm going to buy it for my kitchen because right now ,its painted white and Ive been waiting til I find what I really love. Finally found it and thank you!!

It would be so fun to see you guys utilize that beautiful space outside to build some raised beds, they could have seasonal veggies or a cut flower garden. Hi Cherie! I’m so happy to have you following along! I responded to your earlier comment, but wanted to share here too just in case you didn’t see it. Our floors are original hardwood. We don’t know for sure exactly what kind, but we believe they’re in the Oak family. We had them sanded and refinished when we moved in last October. ♥️

Have you considered putting beadboard on the side of the refrigerator , that dark exposed side looks so out of place in your lovely light kitchen.
Hi Lin! We’ve tossed the idea around! Our appliances will hopefully last for many many many years to come so I don’t want to make any permanent decisions quite yet. ♥️
