Typically a pos software will not require anything special for the barcode scanner to work. You plug in the USB barcode scanner and set the UPC/SKU or item number to the number on the barcode. YOu can also scan the barcode into the item setup screen.

Number 1: Not your software it was made by NCH Software. Number 2: DON"T USE IT There seems to be a serious bug in the software that hasn't been fixed and it will cause the software to get slower and slower the longer you use it even on a very good computer and there doesn't seem to be any fix. You have been warned.
