This is the reason why he is an independent artist. He's father Kanat is he's main producer, so is Dimash. And even though the mainstream media doesn't engage in he's career the followers are. That's why you see the craziest big arena's full. People from all over the world travel for he's concerts. So western society and music lovers from this side will be the force that makes Dimash come more often here. I feel over all, people are noticing the lack of true talent and are tired of the same thing. Dimash spoke little to no English in 2017. When he appeared on The Singer, he knew just a couple of English phrases. By the time of his first solo concert, Bastau, in Kazakhstan he had picked up a few more phrases but that's all. Today Dimash can converse in simple English and has a distinctive accent but is so much better than these early days. Dimash is not very well known in the Western world because he is not signed on with a major record label. Dimash decided to go it alone. He has his own independent production company and his own record label. He is just now starting to attack Europe and will move to the USA. We are awaiting to see his progress as he is very methodical in his goals. He will conquer the world.
You are right. It would be great to hear him sing those songs. He wouldn't+ make any money. Lionel Richie refuses to let him sing one of his songs, Vitas put a stop to Dimash singing his song. They don't like hearing someone sing better than them. When Dimash sings a song, people will forget the original. 😂 Too much trouble with copyright. Now Dimash has been writing more of his own songs.
I'd give anything to hear him sing "Who Wants To Live Forever" by Queen. The way he could scale up like he loves to in live performances would be so amazing. Hopefully one day he'll make a cover album of belting English language ballads. 😀
Dimash isn't for everyone. Most people don't understand him. I agree with you completely. It is a strange mystery. I also compared him to water for people dying of thirst. Also, the industry is against independent artists. Radio stations play who they are told to play for the most part.
