Update: The developer has just dropped a patch that should add the following:
• Fix for the game crash issue in the DLC 1 content, the “Spirited away” level.
• Enhanced controller vibration during hand interactions.
• Enhanced anti-aliasing and LOD (Level of Detail) draw distance, resulting in smoother texture loading.
• Enhanced lighting.
I tested this out myself, and i can confirm that:
• The game does look better thanks to a significantly enhanced lighting (things are much clearer now, no more super dark areas).
• You can definitely feel the haptic feedback now, but i still wouldn't consider this a W, since the vibration intensity is the same regardless of which object you're interacting with.
• The shimmering and aliasing are still a problem. And while some areas show less aliasing than before, others look actually worse.

I was really hyped for this, as I loved Mirrors Edge. I never got to play the original Stride game, so the excitement was through the roof. I can handle most niggles, but dumb AI is a killer for me. Is it that bad?
Here's what you can expect from the enemies: If they see you, they'll come for you/shoot at you.
That's it. Don't expect anything else 😅

@@PhatControllerz Nah you will get shot for sure 😂 The game has issues and i talked about them at length in my review. But it's super fun, and there's nothing like it on PSVR2! So i definitely recommend it, despite the issues.
The shapeshifting space that looks like Control seems cool. I LOVED Control.

No, I won't buy it, because I'm sick and tired of bad portings, I'm sick and tired that devs think we are stupid so there's no need to use DFR and adaptive triggers. Giving that, 8 out of 10 seems too generous to me.
I feel you. It's a shame that the game doesn't take full advantage of the PSVR2 hardware. That being said, the gameplay is INCREDIBLE, and there's nothing quite like it on PSVR2 currently. That's why to me, it feels kinda criminal to give it less than an 8.

@@mAx_71because he doesn't try and sugar coat stuff he hates shitty half assed ports the same as everyone else he tells it like it is which is why I love him
The action is mundane. Clone enemy types, dumb AI, poor shooting mechanics and boring wave shooter sections. Ill pass
Also no button tab for running is wild. Its 2024, give players options… a choice to choose quality of life options. I will say more immersion is a positive thing but forcing the player into that running movement mechanic wasnt a smart move
Everyone is entitled to their opinion ofc. But to me, the action was really good. And i enjoyed blasting my way through those clones while jumping and swinging. Made me feel like a badass lol
