Is it my imagination or seems like TLOU it's not optimized for PC? I have the same config as you, and my game doesn't run as well as yours. I guess its cause the shaders were loading and I haven't have enough time to wait, but I'm afraid that I will need to change the card already on the next year. I'm not jealous at all, but play with the settings in ultra and in FHD it's the minimum for me
It's better than before, but the optimization still isn't great. TLOU can be quite demanding, especially during the initial shader compilation, which can cause performance drops if you don't wait for it to complete.
Actually, I bought this PC build during the COVID era with a GTX 1050 Ti instead of the RTX 4060. Back then, it cost me MYR 4,350 (around USD 969.90), which included my Acer Curved 144Hz monitor. At that time, the GTX 1050 Ti was priced at RM 1,050 (around USD 234.11). I recently bought the RTX 4060 about two months ago for MYR 1,136.65 (around USD 253.43), then I bought a 1TB SATA SSD (SPCC) for around MYR 250 (approximately USD 55.74), and later on, I got a 2TB NVMe SSD for MYR 394.83 (around USD 88.03). However, without the GTX 1050 Ti and with the updated components, I estimate that my current PC build costs me around MYR 4,781.48 (around USD 1,066.10). But of course, many components were much higher back then, and you can now get them at cheaper prices nowadays.

How's my specs i5 12400F + RTX 3060 12GB + 16GB DDR4 + 1TB SSD
It's good. Your CPU is even better than mine. And your GPU is also good for 1440p gaming (with more VRAM).
big cpu bottleneck
