The 1 is a queen excluder entrance, and they do make deep supers to go along with this setup that also latches fast. I haven't had mine long but love them so far.
Thanks for the review. Could you put a wooden 6 frame box on top? You'd have to strap it down but size why would they fit? Those mice can be a pain. They can chew through wooden reducers also - ask me how I know. LOL Looks like spring is almost here.

I think that if you strapped it down it the wood box on top could work. I hate the mice and I have about seven weeks till the first inspection.
