Rule no 1 : what is the catalyst ?
Rule no 2 : what direction is the stock trading in?
Rule no 3 : are we moving in the same direction as the catalyst?
Rule no 4 : is the stock trading at higher relative volume or lower relative volume? ( check last 20 or 30 days relative volume and it should be higher relative volume)
If above vwap go long and if below vwap go short

Hey Shawn, what happened to the market since about the beginning of November? Im pretty new to this. I was killing it for two months before. Maybe one losing day. I nearly tripled my account. Since November, there has been no movement. I can hardly find a winning trade trading the index ETFs. What happened? Earnings season? It's like the market is dead. Any end in sight? Basically I trade momentum. Right now there is none. Thanks
