Hello Frank, I am also considering this boat for trolling ina baltic. i never been on that boat. but also i need a boat for other kind of fishing like spincasting. dont you think is is a bit short of space on the deck? could you tell me what is distance between doors and bench? i mean fishing deck width and length? how you feel that boat for active fishing for two normal fitted guys in the aft? Thanks
Hi The boat is ok for trollingfishing, but not for spincasting. The deckspace is to short, and it is more then enough when to people are on the deck. I dont know the distance. Also you should know that this is not a speedboat in bigger wawes. In bigger wawes the speed is not more then 14 knot, but in trollingspeed the boat is perfect.
Frank Ronny Johansen Thanks. well on our end Baltic near Klaipeda we have often waves 2 m, but i dont go out if waves are higher than 1 m . How does boat rides in 1 me waves? maybe it could be a good idea to put a bit bigger engine in order to have more power when it is wavy conditions?Tack
Roolis77 Its no problem trollingfishing with this boat in big wawes. I have been out in 1,5-2 meters wawes with no problem as long as the wawes are not braking.The problem is the transport from harbour to the fishingarea and back again. The problem is that you cant drive in fast speed with this boat in big wawes. The result is that you must take your time to reach your destination. When you start fishing then this boat is a great trollingfishing boat. I have 90hp engine, and this is what you must have. 70hp engine is a little low, and the most you are allowed to have is 100hp engine, but this you dont need.
Are you happy about your boat ? I wanna bought this model because dont weight too much and I like a lot benetau...one of the best company for boats, intelligent use of the space,perfect meterial quality...I never found other best..

what is the maximum speed and best cruising speed vs rpm?

30 knot, best cruising is about 20 knot at about 4800 rpm.
