    I didn't know this about tensor bushings. I am skating a new pair of Tensor's now, Mag Lights. This is my first go on them.
    That has to feel crazy, going for trick and then your truck is missing😳. Glad you got it worked out and got a session in.

      Thanks Anthony! The problem is solved now , it was coming from the nut. I'm back at it today as I finish my breakfast! Let me know what you think about Tensor. I like the way they grind!

    I've almost had that happen with the truck falling off. I was skating and then just kicked my board up and thought, damn my trucks are loose and then just checked the nut and it was just about to come off. Screwed it on with my fingers and was back at it.
    I had to sub out my Tensor bushings because no matter what I did to them they were making a super annoying clicking sound like the interlocking urethane between the two bushings were doing something odd.

      I had that clicking sound too, never did find a way to fix that.

      @@PHeMoX Me neither hence why I said 'screw it' and replaced them with some Bones Hardcores instead. Also my Tensor bushings would stick to a position if enough pressure was applied. Worst bushings I've ever tried.

      The weird sound come for me every time I change for bones bushings. There might be an issue with their nut... I don't want this to happen again. It could have been much worse if I was at full speed on a hip!😱

      @@SkateCrisis the loosened nut happened to me too on the Hardcores. But you need to properly engage the lock nut which might mean screwing it on proper tight. If it feels too tight maybe just remove that top washer for more space.

    Par un beau soleil, la mécanique fait des siennes, mais la réparation permet de continuer et l'on se rends compte quelle est mise à rude épreuve. Beaucoup de ténacité pour réussir un enchaînement , avec la satisfaction lors de la réussite . C'est beau la passion !!

    I’m so glad to see you back skateboarding my dear friend. I absolutely loved this video. I cannot believe that your skateboard truck fell apart like that however I have had a skateboard truck base plate break in half once before whilst I was skateboarding.

      Breaking a base plate is pretty hard! I broke once one corner of a base where the Noseslides are hitting. What was the truck brand you broke?

      @@SkateCrisis The trucks were a hybrid of a "Tensor" base plate and a "Silver" truck hanger.

    I love my tensor trucks but when I first put them on I could not get smooth movements. Very sticky. I threw in the bushings from an old set of thunder trucks I had and now they work great.

      They are pretty good trucks but as you said it takes some time before breaking in the bushings...

    I have Tensor Mag lights, the bushings were too soft for my freestyle setup so I bought some Short Street Cone & Street Cone -4 pack, from Riptide Sports they have regular ABS and Krank formulas lots of different hardnesses , I like the krank. I got the hardest ones for freestyle, they squeak a little don't know if it'll go away with time, only have riddin it once since installing them

    I use bones bushings in my mag light lows, no problems at all

      Ok, with my both pairs, I had this weird sound like "knak knak" when I turn. But they were not low ones. Or it's maybe because I ride too loose? 😬

    Ace trucks slogan is "Loose trucks save lives", but I think you have gone a bit too far with those loose trucks man! 😅 Awesome to get a skate video from you! I have skated and enjoyed indys, thunders, ace, tensor and even Avenues suspension trucks. Right now I have one setup with indys and one with thunders. You are killing it with the slides Laurent. I actually tried a couple of slappy nose slides today, but even that scare me! 😅 I will try and embrace my inner Laurent next time and see if that helps! Awesome video man, and you were really close to landing the kickflip! Keep at it!

    HELLO ! Super de te revoir sur le skate, récupères bien. Le kickflip, essayes de gratter vers le haut (vraiment) , le genou plié doit dépasser l'avant du skate (le + possible) au moment du pop + grattage.
    Regardes les slow motion kickflip sur youtube, c'est impressionnant at comment les gars grattent vers le haut tout le mouvement A bientôt.

      I use tensor trucks, the cheapest ones, but I didn't quite like the bushings as they were too soft for my weight, I was getting wheel bites constantly. Changed them for a harder ones and it turned out to be a descent combo!

      My favorite right now are the independent hollow trucks. I’ve tried tensor trucks and didn’t like the way they felt at all. They seem too loose for me.

      It's probably a tie between Tensor Magnesium Lite TENs and Thunder Hollow lights for me. But I did experience the same issue with adding different bushings. I also had one pair of bushings break because I tightened them too much (ie. I replaced them with Bones and had to tighten them down hard to make it work, seems in the longrun it may lead to the replacement bushings breaking). I should have filed the bushings down, seems like a workable fix.

      @@hamellsk8 I like Tensor trucks for Street skating but I keep my Indy's for transitions. I love the way they turn in bowls.

    😂 Never seen that happen, that's bad! Have you tried loctite to secure the nut? Also I didn't know that you can only use Tensor bushings, good to know as I recently switched to Tensor trucks. PS Your helmet looks really cool.

      J'ai les Magnesium All terrain 5.5 classic. J'avais commandé une paire de Low mais j'ai reçu ceux là qui ne sont pas franchement Low(55mm).

    Simply not true
    I didnt like the stock bushings so I put medium shorty's barrel cones in and they work fine. The bottom washer cuts into the bottom barrel a bit but they ride better.

      I tried with bones and the result was not satisfying with a really annoying "knak!" sound. Good to know that it works well Shorty's. I will try if I can find some. Thx for your feedback man!

      @@SkateCrisis yessir. I get the click as well but I think its the shitty top washer. The tensor trucks weigh half as much as the indys tho. The top shortys bushing kinda formed into that special shape after a while but is a little squashed. I need hard bushings but cant find any online. Being a bigger dude you probably need hard as well. But the clicking goes away eventually

      I'm riding with pretty loose trucks, it might be another reason I get the noise with standard bushings?...

      @@SkateCrisis yeah, if you take off the top washer you can see where the metal is chewed by the washer a bit. That's the clicking. I use wax there. No click. Nice skating btw. I just started at 42. Got ollies, pop shuvs, railstand kickflips, and slappies! Check my instagram @jmacdizzle55

    At first i thought your kingpin broke, Luckily not and you could skate - My kingpin broke while warming up few weeks ago - so i had only a 10 min session :D
    So how are the trucks and bushings beside that they are loose at first?

      Haha that was a good start yes! Breaking material in the beginning of a sesh is pretty annoying. I try to bring a second board with me in the car(when I remember it)
