I feel like Evident has entirely misunderstood what we (java players) hate about the marketplace. Its not that it only has bad maps, its just that good maps and bad maps are both free on java. He has proven that the marketplace has some good maps, something most java players were already aware of.

Most casual players don’t use mods or the marketplace
As much as I love bedrock and I do think it’s better in plain features
From a modding perspective Java is better simply because it can just do all the good stuff bedrock does and get rid of the bad, Java also has better redstone
