November 18, 2022. Unsure where you are at this moment, but please, Diva, know that your voice is still blessing us! I pray you are well and flourishing!
Wow. Once of the most beautiful interpretations of this lied I have ever heard. This is seriously dark subject matter, and the sorrow of this piece really comes through. I'm utterly blown away!
Ich singe jetz es auch. Es ist einen sehr schön und emotionell Stück von Schubert. Ich liebe es. I practise this and this is a very beautiful and emotional piece from Schubert. I love it. ♥
Holy Wow, Batman! How gorgeous is that? How is it fair that she gets to be that beautiful and sound like that? I could hear that a thousand times and never grow tired.
One incredible voice! I'm stunned. And not only her voice is wonderful, but her whole performance is there. True, she's beautiful, but beautiful people can't always give a good performance. She can. Wow.
I love the way the piano conveys the spinning of the wheel in parallel with the erotic whirling of Gretchen's thoughts under the spell of Faust, and then the climactic, profound moment of silence of the piano at 1:49. Most moving, though, is beautiful Nwobilo's beautiful interpretation of Schubert's genius.
Wonderful! A very promising talent! Most girls from our music schools would be totally jelous! I enjoyed it so much! At the very end you can feel how she grows, grows, intensifies, and becomes a fire musically speaking of course, and the climax is completely breathtaking! I loved it! I can't wait to see her on stages!
IT IS ALWAYS SO SUPREMELY EXCITING WHEN YOU RUN ACROSS REAL TALENT YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF BEFORE. OMG WHAT A WONDERFUL VOICE! I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY. SHE IS SUPERB! BRAVA!
Lovely voice! I appreciate how you sing with this with the correct emotion it requires! There are those that sing this like it's a sweet lullaby---it's not! Good job, and keep it up! p.s. You're gorgeous too!
@ixsingxtenor I believe that this voice is naturally dark and lovely. If she were guilty of any manipulation other parts of the voice would suffer especially her diction, with which I had no problem. Love it for what it is. Just a beautiful voice. Thanks. I've listened to several established singers and not so established singers on this site and in my recordings and very few come close in color and beauty.
I truly hope to hear more of your beautiful voice. I'd love to hear you sing Doretta's song. from La Rondine or even Eh Ben. from La Wally with the low ending. because you can. I will be looking for you on the tube singing those arias in the near future. Thank you a million.
So agree. Schubert's piano here is the spinning wheel; it is a reflective conversation btwn Gretchen & her wheel! Schubert equalised the parts, in ref back to pre high classical when Jeeves was in the offing accomp the melody.
AMAZING. You have WAY more support than you are giving this though. Which is crazy because this sounds near flawless. Your facial placement and resonators are on point.... however I can tell you are not getting as much breath as you COULD. You don't sound unsupported by any means...but I can just tell there is A LOT more voice under there waiting to explode. It took me many voice teachers and many lessons before I finally understood breath. My voice teacher at the time told me its like an accordion. That correlation made me understand what BREATH means.... its a give and take and a manipulation of air. Singing is ALL a manipulation of air....lightly bouncing your tone on top of the air..... like I said you don't sound unsupported but watching your ribcage while singing...you have MUCH more voice there
I accidentally found this wonderful singer. I listened tp many singers singing this sad and dark songs. My favorite was Renee Fleming until today. This singer, in my opinion. better than Renee. After reading many "replies", I found out her full name is Bibianna Nwobilo, originally from Biafra, Nigeria and became a citizen of Austria, currently living in Switzerland. When I typed her full name in the search, I found bunch more her performance. It is a rare find. She is an excellent singer. Hope I will hear more about her in the future. I will do some research and find out more about the background of the song. Why Faust is mentioned on the backdrop of the song?
beautiful how she does the ' hertz' a very promising young lady indeed. what a pity that she does not advertise her name more clearly. I enjoyed this very much
Outstanding performance, ease and control! Love it! I'm preparing this song as well. After 2:30 there are a few notes where the pitch is slightly - .25 - flat, but you are probably aware of that...
Bibianna has got a wonderful voice. Her German is the difficulty. With one exception (Hampston) I hear always when a German lied is sung whether the singer is German. This language has got a different character and singer from the English speaking world pronounce it too soft. Best sample is Schindler's List, a film which gives you real goose bumps when seeing the German version. The original English version is in comparison soft - to my opinion. The piano here is excellent. I don't think that listeners who are not German can receive the feelings of the pronounced tragic love drama fully. The wording of Goethe is spectacular and genius Schubert found the corresponding music to it. This piece pains my heart.

Prestation époustouflante de Bibiana Nwobilo. J'ai rarement entendu une telle force dans ce merveilleux Lied.
Fantastic! Such depth and solidity, smooth and all the way through, and "ach mein Kuss!" fantastic.... ❤
Sie ist Wunderbar!
She is wonderful! What an interpretation, so troubled. And the strength of her voice. Brava!
Wow. Once of the most beautiful interpretations of this lied I have ever heard. This is seriously dark subject matter, and the sorrow of this piece really comes through. I'm utterly blown away!
Sa voix, sa beauté, sa gestuelle appropriée... Quelle merveille!
She KNEW what she was singing about. Yay! Whoever you are, you own this piece! Brava! Please give us more of you! ❤️

Magnificent discovery. Talented the young interpreter. Excellent performance. Thank you.

Same.

So beautiful!
she's wonderful!
this moved me.
Bibianna, now the citizen of Austria is living in Switzerland. She is the child of Biafra from Nigerian civil war 1967-1970.
Wow
This particular performance, every note rattles my soul to its core.
She sounds awesome! I do see where certain vowels give her a darker sound, however, she adds to this piece. Well done!
Beautiful! Now that's how it's done.
It's almost a sin to look this beautiful. To top it off, she has that amazing voice. Damn! I am a fan for real.
Very beautiful voice!!
Simple , Beatiful well phrased and a superb voice and interpretation !!! Schön!!
IT IS ALWAYS SO SUPREMELY EXCITING WHEN YOU RUN ACROSS REAL TALENT YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF BEFORE. OMG WHAT A WONDERFUL VOICE! I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY. SHE IS SUPERB! BRAVA!

Please add the names of the performers to the description. They deserve this.
The dislikes probably like Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus and other talentless crap. It doesn't get any classier than this! Just breathtaking!!
