These paintings are absolutely beautiful. Your imitation of the strokes is so so close to Van Gogh. Where did you find the references of the paintings? I would love to do studies myself.
I haven't found better emulation of Vincent on TH-cam. This video should get a bit more viral in time, i predict, since it covers his late period and especially the crucial S.N. Imagine please if it were re-released with a soothing voiceover haha. I'm now inspired to emulate someone who emulates Vincent so well. Good on ya'
I'm very glad you liked it. That's great to hear🥹My voice sounds like a child's, so I've never really considered speaking in my videos🥲 I hope your painting turns out beautiful🍃
I’m very new to painting, especially new with gouache. I tried painting van goghs cypress in wheat fields (in a very simple way) with gouache and I felt so discouraged after a few layers. Seeing your process and seeing the way you work really helped me and I feel much more confident to try again tomorrow :) thank you for making this video and editing it so well
This whole video is an art! From the painting itself, the choice of background music, and the videography+editing! Gonna stay tuned to your next videos ofc. You got my subscribe! ❤:)
@@calmforeststudio I'm a bit confused. I understand the first one was van gogh, but were the other 2 also from his paintings, or you used landscape photos to do them?
@@EugeniaLoli I put the link of the work in the description. I updated the links. All three belong to Van Gogh. In the last picture I paint, Ipaint only a part of the work. I wanted to examine the brush strokes more closely. Of course, my drawing was not the same as his🌻

Did u mix watercolour with white gouache to get your colours?
No, all the paints are gouache.
