    the baby clothes.....the photo of the starving 2 year old....
    my son is that age and the thought of him going thru that disturbs me. i cant imagine the torment the mothers went thru, my god. and how anyone was able to even find it within themselves to stand there and starve a baby.....that is beyond hatred and evil.

      +blooduhz +blooduhz you're stupid. More soviets died than Germans. The Germans killed more people in WWII than any country has every killed in any war. For every German the Soviets killed the Germans killed 2 soviets. So if you know basic math. The soviets suffered nearly twice as many losses as Germany. But what if you added on all the countries Germany invaded? How many people did Germany kill then? Um a lot. And what about Poland? Germany and Poland lost the same about of people. No ones crying about Poland. And of course the soviets killed the Pow. That's what the Germans did with everyone.

    I have always known it really happened, not a question in my mind. My grandfather brought back rolls of film from WWII. Photos he took himself and put them into a photo album, just a small amount of what he actually saw. He was a soldier in the U.S. army. Brought back his colt 45 side arm and a German luger that he traded with a German soldier, where he was fighting they stopped fighting on Christmas day and had dinner with the German soldiers whom they had been fighting which is when the trade was made. Many other interesting stories he told me about the war and atrocities he witnessed, I believe every word he said and the pictures spoke volumes. I don't think he had any political agenda in mind telling me these stories, as by the time I heard them and saw the photos I was ten years old and he was a retired meat inspector and a had a hobby farm in rural Iowa. Also many more stories from a polish man who lived down the road and survived one of these prison camps.

    I am the grand nephew of a Holocaust victim and it grieves me to this day how she gave life to my Aunt Roma by telling her then 10 year old daughter to run and hide and live with Christian neighbors. She gave her life that her daughter might live; a noble sacrifice. Her four children are a testament to that.

    Some of my work colleagues are flying out to visit this soon and it made me want to look it up on here. One thing that has always blown my mind in life is how we are all on this same planet but there can be some people leading such wonderful lives and some people living and dying in such horrific excuses for life. There are no words for went on here. I just wish such evil had never existed. Everyone decent deserves love and happiness and where you are from, what your culture or religion is or what colour you skin is shouldn't mean anything. The love within your heart should be all that counts. God bless everyone who lost there lives. I hope they are in a better place now.

    *A Shakespeare Sonnet dedicated to our good and dear Saint Skeilak:*
    Was I never yet of your love grieved,
    Nor never shall while that my life doth last;
    But of hating myself, that date is past,
    And tears continual sore have me wearied.
    I will not yet in my grave be buried ;
    Nor on my tomb, your name yfixed fast,
    As cruel cause that did the spirit soon haste
    From th'unhappy bones, by great sighs stirred.
    Then if an heart of amorous faith and will
    May content you, without doing grief,
    Please it you so to this to do relief If,
    otherwise, ye seek for to fulfil
    Your disdain: ye err, and shall not as ye ween,
    And you yourself the cause thereof hath been.

    Dear skeilak had a sweet tooth, he enjoyed visiting vids about past treats, here is an example:
    "I'm afraid that Bonomo Turkish Taffy went the way of Mr. Salty Pretzel Sticks and Hoffman's Coca Cream Soda. (I think Sandy Becker took the last bar to Palisades Amusement Park.) But if you do a Google search for "Bonomo Turkish Taffy Substitute", that will lead you to French Chewy Taffy, that is almost identical. (You'll even find the recipe, to make it yourself.) Buy some, and do like my little sister and I did, put 'em in the fridge, for an hour, then smack 'em on the kitchen table!"-skeilak

    "In real-life, a "dragon's breath" round is most often (though rarely,) used by Police SWAT Teams, as a distraction. Example: In a barricaded hostage situation, firing a dragon's breath round at the front of the building, to dazzle/distract the hostage taker, while Officers enter through the back door. They are really not very effective as an incendiary round, as the magnesium powder burns out before igniting all but the most extremely flammable material."-skeilak

    "This story was based on the real-life Radio390, an actual British pirate commercial radio station that operated from 1966 to 1967 on the Red Sands Fortress, one of the Maunsell Anti-aircraft Forts erected in WW2, in the Thames Estuary. The exterior shots were made while the station was still in operation. The towers were permanently abandoned in 1967, following a change in British law. Today the towers still stand, but as rusted ruins, with the inter-connecting catwalks long removed."-@skeilak

    Being an old man and having served in a job which entailed travelling the world i thought i had seen the world. Additionally having read a lot of books about second world war and the crimes committed therein, i also believed that i knew a lot about the human cruelty. But today was the first time i saw an actual video of the Nazi concentration camp at this polish village and i am still not being able to control my tears.
    The video isn't graphic but i had never been to this place, and had only read about the camp and the atroicities performed here. i can now, visualize everything in details. Thank you guys for the effort and especially the movie in HD.
    What this video makes me wonder is that Hitler and his Nazi troops had provided the world of the first taste of terrorist action. America remained aloof and to the best of my belief none of their presidents have ever replied truthfully as to why did they not bomb the concentration camp.
    Though a poetic injustice was served to them on 9-11 yet the American authorities prepare or should i say manufacture terrorists in different countries, to serve their short term interests. well who doesn't? Every country hopes for the best and encourages terrorism in another country.
    how long will this madness continue? when shall we learn that today and now we must stop repeating the mistakes of yesterday else there is no point in studying history. strangely what the erudite and immoral people arer doing is they are refining the mistakes committed in the yesteryears, so that these mistakes remain undiscovered for as long as possible and allow the event or mischief to happen and then they claim their purpose.
    All the human races can genetically interbreed and contribute to evolution, proving what God had originally designed but the people with a lot of intelligence use the name of the "Same God" to divide people and fight.
    wonder how long!

    "I understand the fun of modifying or customizing a rifle. (Or any machine.) While I've never understood the point of the mini-Garands, the .308/7.62X51mm NATO conversion makes sense. Basically the same performance, at much less cost. But it seems here, that your taking a perfectly good M1 Garand, and spending an awful lot of time and money, just to do what an off-the-shelf M1A already does perfectly? I mean, an M14/M1A basically 'IS' a Garand modified for .308 and a detachable box magazine." -skeilak
