Love this! I have my family’s 1948 Case VAC that my great grandfather bought new from my grandfathers dealership. It has never left our family. I restored it 2 years ago with my father. My children are the 5th generation to sit on the tractor. @ Classic tractor fever, let me know if you want to do a story….

Amazing life that tractor has had. Young Charles standing on it and pulling logs to the mill would have been cool to see.

Unless this is an old video if that’s a 1930 and it’s now almost 2022 I figure 92 years.

Whats the horsepower of the tractor and how much hp is the flywheel rated at?

@William Bryant • If CTF doesn't mind, here is a link to this family tractor and more info on The Iron Mule:

      Sure is a beauty!

We still have my Great Grandpas first tractor. A IH w30. Unfortunately its been sitting in a deteriorating leanto for longer than ive been alive. Anyone know of an old w or f30 with a non stuck engine? I'd like to get it running for my grandma oneday.

Fill the cylinders with diesel and give it a nudge every few days, eventually it will start to turn and go from there!

Fill each cylinder with a mix of 1/3 Diesel, 1/3 Marvel Mystery Oil, and 1/3 of Automatic transmission fluid. Let it sit for a while with that in it and get out there with a breaker bar and work it back and forth. She’ll come unstuck.
