As a note, considering Mark didn't seem to catch it when it happened: The order in which minions spawn from the spell is the same order in which cthey are in your hand. In the first game, due to Umbra being in the 4th spot, she didn't proc the first 3 minions, because, for her, they weren't there -yet-.
It seems like it usually occurs in the same way as the minions are placed in your hand but at 10:11 Umbra was summoned first even though she is the 2nd minion in hand.
@@laur429 that's because those 2 minions where togheter in the opening hand, he didn't show the mulligan but i believe that umbra was there naturally and he changed a card into the bat
So the spell works in order of when a minion was added into the hand? Edit: Not strictly the order they are in the hand but rather the order they were added into the hand.
@@laur429 It does seem like so. When multiple minions or effects are added to the board, the game naturally leans towards the rule of "Whichever came first" For example, if two deathrattles trigger, the one that was put on the board first happens first, and then the second and so on. Seems to be the same with the cards added to the hand with the mulligan!
I'd love to see a combo where you give Bonelord Frostwhisper to the opponent. Kill it, then have 3 Ice Blocks ready so they can't kill you (or other forms of immunity / stealth)
I came up with the idea of using Lady Prestor in Paladin to generate a random Temporus. Then you Silas over Bonelord. You then kill it and play Brann + Temporus + Time Out. After which, your opponent is forced to play 3 turns in a row while you're immune (As Time Out lasts until your next turn).
It’s like they see the frostwhisper and see a quick way to win the game without thinking there might be a reason why it is in their opponents deck and why they played it
It appears that From De Other Side summons the minions in the order they appear in your hand but in the Rogue game at 10:10 when you played the 2nd copy of Other Side it summons Umbra first then Gargoyle for some reason. Unless it truly summons minions in random order and it just happens that you summon them in order almost every single time. I might go and test From De Other Side myself with random unique minions just to not drive myself crazy.
Both those cards were in his opening hand (7:10), maybe cards in the opening hand are played in a random order but before all others. Or maybe it's the order in which the cards were added to hand, so mullignaned cards are summoned after cards in the original hand, and we're assuming the gargolye was mulliganed and the umbra wasn't (we have no way to know this since the mulligan was edited out of the video).
Love to see your video's. Trying these decks, every day an ohter one... It will be not so easy as it is. Finding combo's and winning :) Keep up the good work!
Deck idea: Big Raptor Hunter Idea is to buff up the reward from The Marsh Queen quest. The ultimate play is Queen Carnessa on 5, Glory of Quel'thas on 6 (Plus hit), hit with weapon and Lor'themar on 7 which would make the Carnessa's Brood into 1 mana 10/8's
I do this with the 2 cost prince, the draw a beast and give all +2+1 wherever they are, +1 to all battlecry in your deck, and the legendary +1 to all beasts in your deck.
It looks like the spell summons minions from left to right in your hand, so umbra was in front of the first three and would only trigger the ones to her right in your hand.
What happened at 6:40? Why didn't the attacks connect? Am I missing something? Those minions being alive wasted some deathrattles and might have lost the game in some cases.
I have always been a big shaman fan ever since even hagatha shaman was a thing. Maybe even before then although to a lesser extent. I can’t wait till I get the pieces together to make a from da other side deck work.
Seems it's actually the order in which they were added to hand, not necessarily the position in hand. Think it's the 2nd game where you can see they aren't going left from right because probably something was mulliganed and changed the order in which the cards were added to hand.
Well, none of the lifesteals proc because nothing actually hits them. Due to him already being dead it cut out the actual attacks from the spell, which is weird as it targeted them it just didn't complete them. This also lead to the minions being alive to soak some of the deathrattles when the spell concluded and killed them.
That was a hoot! Remember to like the video and subscribe to the channel for daily Hearthstone content! Thanks guys!
From de other side respects order in your hand so you will always summon from left to right (might have some future otk potential)
Hi Mark! Have you done the otk with brann + lorthemar plus Finley to dredge the 4 mana charge sunken DH cards for 40 dmg?

Interesting, is that the case for every effect that summons copies/minions from your hand, like Krul, or is it just this specific spell?

Could probably pretty easily do the summoning part with warrior. Not as much the immune part tho.

The problem is, by the time you achieve immunity you probably already won the game.

Silver Standard 💀
Nothing can stop this man from reaching gold 10

When I first saw From De Other Side I thought of Mayor Noggenfogger, but I gotta say this Deathrattle combo is way cooler.
Dane did a video using the mayor recently. I like both versions
@@mikebutler4189 Yeah I saw that too, both are good, but this one doesn't rely on your opponent having a huge board.

Interesting that the lifesteal on the minions didnt proc for that demon hunter
That is interesting. Maybe it already considerers him dead after the initial deathrattles go off.
