You are right in that Koong is an onomatopoeia so kudos on that. The other dancer you seemed to like a lot was Junmin, but there was also Seeun and Yechan who is one of the rappers and the maknae. Yujun (pastel blonde) was on Junmin's back in the HB choreo Hunter is just a perfect center, or as i call him, Baby SAtaN Sumin (on the glass) and MInjae (on the paper plane, leader) always great And not forgetting Hyunwoo also The lift in Homeboy doesn't happen on live stages, so Jinsik can hit the high note (last visual in homeboy mv). There is also a separate performance HB video where they show the dance on location with a few other parts of the main mv spliced in Theres only 9 members in the whole comeback and album as Junghoon suffered a knee injury and had to miss everything sadly, but he is recovering well. Also in an eerie coincidence or deliberate ploy, Koong as the 1st mv in the comeback, mirrors Hala Hala as it was Ateez's 1st comeback mv and it was also a performance video. And if you think about it, the white "Tricky" outfits also mirror the black "Halateez" outfits, so it feels like there's a continuity within the KQ-multiverse And, finally, Xikers made their Immortal Songs debut already!! They did really well and maybe that can be a video for your Patreon..... also also Ateez won their 4th Immortal Songs a month or so ago, definitely watch that too
The word koong, as you guessed, is an onomatopoeia, and it actually has a Korean culture significance and ties to their all goblin (도깨비) concept as it’s the sound of them making their presence known by stomping (also hence some of the thunder and their big and powerful movements during the choreography). The reaction video done by “Handsome Sausages” goes better in depth as Koreans and the significance but I love that xikers incorporates so much Korean culture in their concept and their choreo.
I'm pretty sure BB Trippin choreographed both. They are wildly talented at making choreo fit the vibe of the song. I love Homeboy, but I've watched the dp for Koong sooo many times. It's grimy and they deliver.
9:38 BBTRIPPIN choreographed this. They're WILD!! Please react their "싸이커스(Xikers) - Home Boy BBT Choreo" That was stunning and satisfying like a Pro level.

They hit the ground running -- what amazing performers. With ATEEZ in the same company, what did we expect?????

I was thinking the same thing about Hala Hala!!

I've seen them live on tour and let me tell you the stage might've been small but they deliver this energy still, they're crazy

"I don't what sound I just made there" listening to xikers summed up lmao
A dance crew who makes music, YES. Monster rookies for sure!
Xikers are so energetic! Have you watch the Do or Die dance practice (DIE VERSION)? It's really 🔥🔥🔥
I would be interested in a guide! I saw this group at a concert recently and would like to know more about them.
