- A Chinese guy “Yang” carries all his money and aims to open his dreamed mini-mart in Thailand. He wants to find a Thai investor to co-invest the business, however; his charisma becomes a problem that makes potential business partners think he will snatch their girlfriends. He sees no way out and has no clue for his dream. On the other side, a newly graduated “Poomjai” is worried about the language barrier to flirt and get a Chinese influencer “Tammy” to be his girlfriend. He needs a teacher who can teach him Chinese language and techniques for being a hot guy. When the benefits fit, then the story begins. Poomjai becomes Yang’s business partner, while Yang becomes Poomjai’s private teacher. Everything seems perfect but who knows, this mini-mart will be the beginning of their mini romance.

They are supportive but in a wrong way. It is like the story of the man and the butterfly. Kids need to fall and face criticism to grow up. All they are doing is making him feel accomplished when it was never his efforts that succeeded. If u are watching Dangerous Romance, it is similar to when Kang's dad bribed the coach to include him in the team (even though Kang wanted to win a spit through his own efforts).
Por is a good example of an actual supportive parent. He scolds Jai for his shortcomings, but he also helps and keeps and eye on him. Basically, let's him have his freedom and make mistakes, but also makes sure that it won't really hurt or ruin his future.

Maybe it's not a 24 hour shop so there's no shifts and each staff member has different responsibilities, like Tack doing the PR and others taking care of back store and cashier job. And 5 staff is definitely not that many for that size of a store

I don't know why they aren't focusing to draw people in their shop, who are living in the same area? Flyers might be good or small snacks given out to passing folks, if there are passing human beings 😂. Promotion on lokal newspaper or radio stations with some sort of opening celebration 😂. Oh gosh my brain needs to stop thinking this way. Though since Covid there aren't any random people anymore in Thai series.

I mean, I'd know because I'm an older sister. To 4 siblings. To step-sisters and two half-brothers. Most of the time, they're up to no good and can be the biggest pain in the ass. Yet, I'd never be so negative about their passions or dreams.
PS.: In case anyone is wondering about my family dynamics, the long story short is that my parents divorced and both remarried.
My dad to my stepmom (who had a daughter) and together they had a boy.
And my mom to my stepdad (who also had a daughter) and together they also had a boy.
His behavior is the exact portrayal of an Asian brother, especially East/Southeast Asian. Because unlike Western culture, most Asians don't usually say it out loud how they love their siblings or family members. Most of the time, love and care is shown in the form of scolding, nagging, being indifferent and monetary support. So from an Asian's POV, what Poomjai's bro is doing is actually him playing his role as the eldest in the family wanting to be responsible and seeing his lil bro succeed.

I come from a completely different culture where, even though we fight with our siblings (and we do, like a lot, also very loudly and with very colorful language! 😶), we are usually also the ones who support them the most, like covering for them when they get into trouble, so that they're not scolded or grounded by parents, teachers, etc. 😅

I'm from Brazil! 🤭 Sometimes, we curse a little while fighting with our siblings, but the unspoken but absolute rule about this, is that it is only allowed among families. If someone outside your family curses your family, well, things can get complicated! Here in Brazil, the family is somewhat untouchable. For most people, of course! 😶😅
