I’m 51 years old and love old school boxing. But this is the best move as a promoter with a pure money play. This fight brings in MMA fans and the average boxing fan. I think I represent the the average man who loves to watch fighting. I’ve worked blue collar jobs my whole life, associated myself with the same people, my whole life, and we all will enjoy this fight.
After Eddies prediction for the Beterbiev v Smith fight its hard to take him seriously, plus the damage done to the Matchroom brand by continuing to support a proven drug cheat in Conor Benn.

It's all well and good moving these fights to Saudi but we're going to end up with the big fights only happening 6 months a year during Rhiad season, I'd also not be surprised if the Saudi's start to sign fighters on the back of it and Matchroom and other promoters lose their grip.
