Osaka has mixed circumstances of old and modern city and it has been famous as a commercial city My mother was born in Japan in early 1930' and I regularly go to Japan approx. twice a year So I used to meet many Aussies travelling there like you And it is quite interesting your accent is different from of Sydey.

学生の時 英国に短期留学して 会社員の時テキサスに駐在して 政府関連の仕事でカリブ（トリニダッドトバゴ）長期滞在して 何処へ行っても「お前の英語は（日本人としては）ありえないほど変だ。何処で習ったのだ？」 とか聞かれた。 シドニーの人がパースの人の英語が（また違う）とか言っている。 世界は広いなあ。。。

オーストラリアの人が撮影した道頓堀は同じく外人ばかりなのだなぁ。難波道頓堀は全然行ってないけどすごい数の外人さん。日本人かな？と思う人も大半は中国韓国ベトナムの人っぽいです。日本人は1割くらいしかいなさそう・・・
