Happy birthday Elise. EJ Tackett has a really nice shot, I watched a match with him and Belmonte in the finals and Belmonte beat him by one pin he looked so pissed.
i can't understand why PBA bowlers throw straight at the 2-8 with their spare balls. With EJ's rotation on the ball, all he has to do is hit anywhere to the right of the 2 pin and he will cover the 8 pin. The margin for error is much greater than going straight at it. I'm 72 with less than half the rev rate of these pros and I rarely miss the 2-8, for just this reason.
That’s the difference between tournament/professional bowlers and amateur league bowlers. League bowlers think 1 release 1 speed should always work. Tournament/Pro bowlers know about speed and hand position changes to get the ball to react and through the pins correctly on a variety of difficult oil patterns.
@@remoevans7847 Nothing you said is wrong, however i think they are meaning, someone like EJ doesnt exactly alter ball speed a lot. He throws it hard and harder. He hits it hard, and he hits a shit ton, probably the only reason he isnt the undisputed best bowler in the world. Hes a monster on the lanes. He doesnt have that Prather or Belmo touch though.
never tired watching him 😂

Happy birthday kid! Elise! Stay young and beautiful!
Ej was definetly fried after his emotional win at the US open. He will likely do much better in his next PBA tournament.
Who wants to win anyway when it's not on Fox, Real Champions win on TV😆. Stay on It EJ!
Looks like he’s missing by just 1 board but that’s a lot at that level.
Happy Birthday Elise!!!
Crazy to see him shoot such a low scores after such a dominant open run
It happens 🥺
Crazy to see Tackett rushing forward during his frames. Mellow down and enjoy the moment. It looks like he is in a hurry
Happy birthday!
oh the good old days when you didn't have to suffer through the loud music just to watch a little bowling.
then go watch a different channel grandpa
Oh the days where there are multiple videos to watch without a complaint
Turn down the volume on your hearing aid then and watch those candlepin sticks fly the way they did in the 50’s!
@@deehugz1682 Well lah dee dah!
Of course he can! He just won the 2023 U.S. Open
Hey don't worry guys, EJ's still in his post-win grace period
Happy Belated Birthday. What day was your birthday?
Feb 8th 💕
Even when he bowls 160 it looks good

Ej Tackett Won US Open last week.
Happy Belated Birthday, Elise! Hope Dallas Texasss treats you better than Springfield, Missouri! ;-)
I’ve never understood why these guys have to throw it at 20mph.
